Fortunately, they narrowly avoided serious injury. According to reports, Nina and Patrick suffered cuts, scrapes, and soreness but were able to walk out of the hospital without medical assistance. ⚠️ A Story by Bells Bigwan as an Uber driver ‼️‼️

The other night I got a request in Boksburg — two guys, late at night. At first, they seemed chilled, just chatting quietly in the back. But halfway through the trip, one leaned forward and asked me in a low voice:

"Driver… you don’t mind if we make a quick stop, right?"

Before I could answer, the other one pulled out a gun and placed it on his lap. My whole body went cold.

They made me stop outside a dark street corner. One guy jumped out and disappeared into the shadows. The other stayed in the car, watching me, finger tapping on the weapon. I was praying silently, just wanting to get out of there alive.

Minutes later, the first guy came running back, breathing heavy, carrying something stuffed in his jacket. He jumped in and yelled, "Go, go, go!"

I drove as calmly as I could, heart racing, every second feeling like an hour. Finally, they told me to stop, threw a few notes on the seat, and vanished into the night.

I sat there shaking, realizing how close I came to being caught up in something deadly — or worse, not making it home at all.

Since that night, I keep reminding myself: as an Uber driver, you never really know who’s getting into your car.
