Meet award winning Producer Luzuko Dilima who is our O.R. Tambo Film Festival Director and O.R. Tambo District Municipality's Cultural Creative Industries Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA) member leading the Audio Visual and Interactive Media sector, on a mission to assist in Regulating the Eastern Cape Film Industry by advocating for the establishment of the EASTERN CAPE FILM COMMISSION.

Tasked by various Film Sector Stakeholders, Luzuko Dilima presented the collective provincial request of Regulation and establishment of the Eastern Cape Film Commission case to DSAC Minister Z**i Kodwa at the Eastern Cape 2023 Ministerial Imbizo held at Miriam Makeba Centre of Perfoming Arts in East London on 13 October 2023.

Opening Night Formalities.

Guests were welcomed by KSD Mayor Cllr Nelani. Followed by messages of Support from Industry Stakeholders ECPACC Mr Ndwandwa, DSRAC, O.R Tambo Film Forum Chairperson Ms Pinky Tuswa, CCIFSA O.R Tambo Chairperson Mr Mangena Mayekiso and Prof Dali from Ilima Institute.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Nelson Mandela Museum CEO Dr. Vuyani Booi.

The Festival Director Mr. Luzuko Dilima introduced the Jury Ms Portia Zodwa Boateng and the Opening film "Ingoma-The Song" with Filmmakers Kagiso Modupe and Rashakalimphani Muofhe in Attendance.

Mr Dakuse from O.R.Tambo District Municipality gave a vote of thanks and local Comedian Zimvo Mpahleni kept the audience in stiches just before the movie started.
