How To Become Extremely Charming Part 2!

5 Tricks That Can Help You Become The Top G!

As we mentioned in the previous post, when you socialize you must treat the people that you talk to as if they are the most important person in the whole world. You must treat them as if no one else matters but them. But here are the 5 Tricks you can use to improve the way you socialize and become the most charming person in the room:

1. Acceptance
-When you socialize you must accept the people you communicate with unconditionally. Which means that you will treat them with respect without any judgement. When they are with you they must feel like they can be themselves, they don't have to pretend or put on a musk. This will make people want to be around you all the time and they will like you.

2. Appreciation
-You must show the people you meet that you appreciate them. How? By being great full. Normalize saying thank you every time someone does something for you. Even if the person was not able to help you, you must thank them for their efforts. Even if they didn't want to help you, you must thank them for at least giving you their time.

3. Approval
-They say babies cry for it and men die for it. We all seek approval, we want the approval of those we care about. We must give other people approval by complementing and praising them.

4. Admiration
-You must show the ones you interact with that you admire them, you like them. You can show this by complementing them on the things they do well. Even if you want to criticize them on something you must start by complementing them first.

5. Attention
-Attention is the biggest way you can show other people that you care about them. When you give them your undivided attention, they will like you and they will want to be around you because they will feel like they are seen and heard.

How To Overcome Stuttering Part 5!

Tension & Relaxation!

In the earlier post we talked about how tension in your vocal chords or your speech mechanism can cause you to stutter. The more fear you experience, the more tension that will be exerted on your speech mechanism and the more you will stutter. If you didn't try to force trouble free speech you would speak with little to no difficulty. So tension fuels your speech difficulty. One if the things that can help you control your stuttering is learning to relax. In future posts we will teach you how you can learn to relax the body parts that are linked to your speech. Mainly body parts that become tense when you start to stutter. You can learn to relax them by tensing them up in purpose and relaxing them. If you can learn to relax when you stutter, you can start to improve the way you talk! So how can you learn to relax?

People recommend a lot of things out there. One of the things that is recommended is hypnotism. Although it works, it's not a permanent solution. Some use alcohol and drugs to calm their nerves. But the addiction that comes with doing drugs can become bigger that your speech difficulty and it can cause more problems than it will solve. It's a solution that causes more problems! Since tension is mainly caused by anxiety, pills that reduce anxiety can help as well. But you must remember that they come with side effects that can add more problems for you. Which is why we recommend these two methods that you can start to use now to overcome your stuttering.

What we recommend most is relaxation exercises. Try meditating for 15-30 minutes on a daily basis. And you can meditate before you perform tasks that are going to require a lot of speaking from you. Like when you have to address an audience or when you have to make a presentation. Doing relaxation exercises, pausing and taking a deep breath when you start to stutter, then continuing to speak in a slow and calm manner is going to help you a lot in your journey towards trouble free speech. Another thing we highly recommend is physical exercises! Working out helps you build the confidence that most stutterers need. Being confident makes you calm which reduces the tension in your speech mechanism, which helps you stutter less and it helps you stutter freely. How To Overcome Stuttering Part 4.

Factors Affecting Therapy!

Factors such as feelings & emotions, tension & relaxation, distractions, enlisting help from others, your determination & emotion, can cause you to stutter and increase the severity of your stuttering! Let's start by talking about how your feelings & emotions can cause you to stutter and how they can increase the severity of your stuttering.

Being a stutterer can be a very difficult thing, trust me I know! Most stutterers we are ashamed of the fact that we can't communicate fluently to the point where we try to hide it. The most important thing that you must know is that stuttering is what you do when you're trying not to stutter. If you can't afford to stutter, you will definitely stutter. Trying to hide the fact that you stutter is dangerous because you try to force trouble-free speech, which puts tension on your speech mechanism, causing you to stutter. When you start to stutter you panic which increases your shame & fear of stuttering, which causes you to try and force trouble-free speech even harder which puts even more tension on your speech mechanism, which causes you to stutter even more (Severely). The more you try to force trouble-free speech, the more tension you will put on your speech mechanism and the more you will stutter (The severity of your stuttering will increase). It's a vicious cycle that frustrates every stutterer! So what must you do?

The first thing you must do is to accept the fact that you stutter. When you socialize with others you must always tell them that you are a stutterer. This will help you because once they know, you won't have to pretend and you won't have to force trouble free speech. You can now be yourself! This will reduce your fear of stuttering & your anxiety which will reduce the tension in your speech mechanism. This will help you speak with little to no difficulty! You may ask yourself, but what do I do when I start to stutter?

Your first instinct will be to keep going & force trouble free speech but you shouldn't do that. What you need to do is pause, take a deep breath, calm yourself down and continue to speak in a slow calm manner. So how can tension cause you to stutter? Most people make the mistake of believing that if only you can find the original cause of your stuttering, then you can cure your stuttering immediately. But that's not true! Even though it is true that you started stuttering sometime, somewhere in your life, it doesn't have much impact on your therapy towards trouble-free speech! I heard of a case of someone who had an abusive father. So he created a problem that his parents can focus on so that they can stop fighting. And that problem was stuttering. For some people they inherited their speech difficulty from their parent or great grandparents. Whatever the cause of your stuttering is, it doesn't matter. Why?

Instead of focusing on what caused you to start stuttering, you should focus on what you are doing right now that causes you to stutter and what increases the severity of your stuttering. You don't need to suffer for the rest of your life, you can overcome stuttering. Others have done it and so can you! So let's start to talk about how you can overcome your stuttering. But first we are going to talk about the factors that cause you to stutter and how they increase the severity of your stuttering! What are those factors?

The Reason Why Motivation Is Nonsense!

We all have dreams and we have things we want to achieve, goals we want to accomplish. But the problem is most of us we are not living our dreams because we rely too much on motivation. We think that to do what needs to be done for us to achieve our dreams we must be motivated first. But the truth is motivation is nonsense because it's never there when you need it. How many times have you planned things(mostly at night), you set your alarm and you tell yourself: "tomorrow new day new me"! Then in the morning the alarm rings and what do you do?

You hit the snooze button. You wake up late and you start doing things as planned while beating yourself up because you didn't start the day as planned. Or you don't start at all you beat yourself up until you take your phone & scroll through social media to a point where you tell yourself that: "I will try again tomorrow, tomorrow I will wake up at 05:00, exercise & work"! And you do the very same thing tomorrow. So you see? Motivation is nonsense because it's never there when it matters, it's never there when you need it! So what must you do if you want to accomplish your goals and reach your dreams?

If you ask any successful person how they became successful, they hardly say that they became successful because they were motivated. In the formular of success 1% of the formular is motivation. The remaining 99% is a combination of building good (success) habits, proper planning & having the guts to implement what you plan, having the willingness to learn, being disciplined and being consistent in what you do. The most important one here is discipline. Why?

Because discipline to me is having the willingness to do what needs to be done even when you don't feel like doing it. Having the willingness to do what needs to be done even if you don't like doing it. But what about the idea that if you do what you love, if you turn your passion into profit you never have to work a day? Does that mean that if you do what you love things will go smoothly for you? How To Overcome Stuttering Part 3!

Being a stutterer can put you under economic handicap because it makes it difficult for you to do work that is going to require a lot of talking & there are no jobs where you will be silent the whole day, everyday! It can put you under social handicap because you will not like to socialize since you don't like the way you talk.

But right now we want to tell you that you don't have to surrender helplessly to your speech difficulty. You can learn to overcome your speech difficulty, you can learn to communicate with ease rather than with effort. And we want you to know that there is no quick & easy way to overcome your stuttering. There is no quick solution and there is no pink pill or magic portion that is going to help you overcome your stuttering. Now let's talk about the myths that people have when it comes to stuttering.

First people seem to think that stutterers have some sort of physical disability that prevents them from speaking fluently. That's not true! You have no physical disability, there is nothing wrong with your speech mechanism, nothing wrong with your vocal chords and you have the ability to speak fluently. To prove this, normally most stutterers tend to speak fluently when they talk to themselves, when they talk to a pet or a child. They mostly have little to no difficulty when they sing, wrap and when they read in unison with others. Infact most stutterers have periods of fluently & periods of speech difficulty. If you can sometimes communicate fluently, it shows that you do have the ability to speak fluently, with no difficulty!

How To Become An Extremely Charming Person Part 1!

Why is it important for you to be a charming person? It's very important because 80% of your success in your personal life & your professional life relies on your ability to persuade others and sway them to your side! So now that we've established why it's important for you to be charming, how can you become an extremely charming person?

In this post and a series of other posts that will follow, we will give you the step by step guidance on how you can be charming. The first step is for you to be in the moment when you are communicating with other people. By being in the moment I mean that when you talk with others you must treat them as if they are the most important person in the room and no one else matters. You must give them your undivided attention. Which means that your eyes must not wander around, your body language must make it clear that you are in the moment and the direction of your feet will say a lot about you! How?

If you talk to someone while your feet are pointing at another direction, you are telling that person that you would rather be somewhere, anywhere than be with that person and have a conversation with them. So when you talk to someone make sure that your feet are pointing at their direction. And finally you must show them that you are interested in liking them without caring whether or not they like you. How can you do that?

How To Overcome Stuttering Part 2

The first thing you must do to overcome your stuttering is to admit to yourself that you need to change. You need to admit that you don't like the way you presently talk & you would like to change it. You have to let go of the belief that one day your speech difficulty will magically disappear. You have to understand that there is no magic portion, no pink pill that will cure your stuttering.

Don't wait for motivation to come to you, you must go to it. You must admit that your old methods, the methods that you once used in an attempt to control your stuttering simply doesn't work anymore. You must be willing to endure temporary discomfort even agony for the long range improvement you desire. It's not going to be easy! So how can you overcome stuttering?

You overcome it by breaking it down into smaller parts and solving it one part at a time. Like we said it's not going to be easy! Shall we begin? How To Overcome Stuttering Part 1!

Earlier after the creation of this page we did touch a little bit on the causes of stuttering and how you can overcome it and achieve fluent speech. That's why when you scroll down you will find a few posts on how to overcome stuttering. Due to lack of time, we were not able to complete this topic, and we humbly apologize for our lack of order and for the delay. however, we are determined to rectify this mistake and we want to help people who struggle with their speech to control their speech difficulty and achieve fluent speech. So we will start from the beginning. Now you may ask yourself, why are we doing this?

Well, if you have speech difficulty you have two options. Option 1 you can go see a speech pathologist or (Option 2) you can try to solve the problem yourself and undergo self-therapy. Now a lot of stutterers cannot afford to pay speech pathologists and that's where we come in. Our posts are based from my experience as a stutterer and from a book that was written by Malcolm Fraser(L.H.D), the founder of The Stuttering Foundation of America. Our purpose is to help you manage and overcome your speech difficulty. And our purpose is to educate other people especially those who do not stutter. Because they can either make the journey for stutterers easier or harder through their actions and their reactions towards those who stutter. We believe that if we know more we can be able to help our loved ones who need our help and our support. And also our purpose is to create groups where we can communicate and share our experiences as stutterers, thus form our own support groups.

Are You A Whiner Or A Winner?

We live in difficult times where unemployment keeps on rising(It's currently at 34.5%). The Prices of food & fuel keeps on rising, where inflation is at 7.4% as of June which increased by 0.9% from May which was 6.5%. Our Politicians are greedy and corrupt as hell, and so on and so off😂. With everything that is going on right now it's very easy to look at it from a negative point of view & start complaining. It's easy for us to start blaming other people for our problems!

But complaining is not going to help you with anything. It's not going to solve any of your problems. It's only going to cause problems for you because complaining is bad for your physical & mental health. I'm not the one who is saying this it was actually proven by science! How?😱

The truth is no one likes to hang around someone who complains and moans all the time. Although vocalizing your frustrations and negative sentiments may seem harmless, it can have harmful consequences. Not only does complaining turn people off, it also brings down your mood and the happiness of those around you. It can also have a large Impact on your Brain functioning and it can take a toll on your body as well. What other negative effects does complaining have on our mental & physical health?

Here are the other 5 negative effects that complaining has on your health:

1. It Makes You More Likely To Think Negatively

The more you complain, the more likely you are to think negative thoughts later on. Neuroscientists commonly use the phrase “Synapses that fire wire together,” to explain this concept. Every time you complain, your brain physically rewires itself to make it easier and more likely for that reaction — aka the type of thought — to occur again. Negative thinking ends up breeding more negative thinking.

2. It Can Damage Your Memory

MRI scans show that constant complaining can lead to shrinking of the hippocampus, the region in your brain responsible for cognitive functioning. A smaller hippocampus leads to a decline in memory and the ability to adapt to new situations, among other functions. This can occur from even just a few days of stressing out and lead to long-term damage.

3. It Increases Your Levels Of Cortisol (The Stress Hormone)

When you complain, you increase your levels of cortisol, also known as the stress hormone. Chronically high levels of cortisol can lead to a variety of health problems, including increased risk of depression, digestive problems, sleep issues, higher blood pressure and even increased risk of heart disease.

4. It Can Shorten Your Lifespan

Constant complaining is not only bad in the moment, but it can be detrimental in the long run. One study published in the Archives of General Psychiatry found that optimists live longer than pessimists, with a 55 percent lower risk of death from all causes and a 23 percent lower risk of dying from heart failure.

5. It Makes The People Around You Negative Too

No one wants to be around unpleasant people, but if you keep complaining, you might find your peers adapting these negative habits as well. Listening to someone complain makes you more likely to be negative as well, which can just perpetuate the desire to release all those unhappy thoughts.

As they say, birds of a feather tend to flock together, so if you want more positivity, look for people who keep their sour thoughts to themselves. At the end of the day, sometimes it feels good to get your grievances off your chest, but if you’re going to express your negative sentiments, make sure you’re doing it in a productive way.

So instead of complaining about the things that don't go right in your life, seek solutions to those problems. Having the problem- solution attitude can help you live a long & happy life. If you ever feel a need to vent, do it for a limited amount of time & move on. Make sure you stay positive regardless of the challenges you face. The Biggest mistake that most people make is the courses that we chose to enroll in when we pass grade 12. Some people choose a certain course because they are passionate about the field or the industry. Most people choose a certain course because because that's where they think the money is. And some choose a certain course because that's what they qualify to do or because they think the course is going to be easy as ABC, since most people despise Maths & Science. But have you stopped to ask yourself if the career of your choice is in high demand? Are there jobs available or are you going to struggle to find a job when you graduate? Now why am I asking these questions? Because you need to do proper research before you make a career choice.

Right now we live in the age of the fouth industrial revolution. Most people know what this is but for those who don't know the fourth industrial revolution represents a fundamental change in the way we live, work or relate to one another. Meaning that technology is advancing on a regular basis and very soon, most jobs will be done by Softwares(Apps) and or Robots. Ever Wonder Why The Unemployment Rate Keeps On Increasing? Here's Why!



Back in the day, getting a job was easy. You didn't even need Grade 12 to get a job, you would pass Grade 8 and become a teacher! If you had Grade 12 you were gold. You would get a job, a high paying job at most firms! Of course that high paying job meant earning around R100 per month! But right now Grade 12 is nothing. The more people pass Grade 12, the more it losses it's value. Even though there are still jobs that only require Grade 12, most people who are walking the streets without jobs have Grade 12. Right now the employment rate in South Africa was 34.9% in the third quarter of 2021. And most people who are unemployed have Grade 12. Now a lot of people pass Grade 12 and they go to universities or TVET colleges to study the course of their choice or the one they qualified for, with the help of NSFAS and other Bursary schemes. So every year the number of college and university enrollments keeps on increasing. for an example the total enrollments of 2021 was 19 778 000 as opposed to the 2020 enrollments which was 19 744 000. This is a clear indication that the number of tertiary enrollments keeps on increasing each year. But the question that you need to ask yourself is that, from this number of enrollments how many people graduate?

Statistics show that only 6% of South Africans have university degrees, only 6% of South Africans have diplomas and only 3.4% have Technical Vocational Education and Training(TVET) certificates.Could this be the cause of unemployment? Well it is one of the reasons why the unemployment rate is this high. But it's not the only reason because from the total of 15.4% of people who have qualifications, most of them are unemployed and they are struggling to find jobs. Those who are lucky enough to find jobs, most of them only find internships, they are struggling to find permanent jobs. One of the biggest causes of unemployment is our career choices and our mindsets. How are our career choices and mindsets increasing the unemployment rate and what can we do to increase our chances of being employed?
