Two Foreign Nationals Die After Toyota Corolla Quest Rolls Over on R572 Near Seleka

On the evening of November 20, 2025, at approximately 22:01, local police responded to a report of a serious vehicle accident. According to information provided at the scene, a sedan was traveling toward Seleka when it experienced a puncture to the front left tyre. The driver reportedly attempted to brake, resulting in a loss of control and the vehicle overturning off the roadway.

Upon arrival, police officers discovered multiple individuals at the scene. Two passengers, an adult male and an adult female, sustained fatal injuries and were declared deceased by emergency medical services. Three other occupants were transported to hospital for medical examination and further care.

‼️Child Rescued After Kidnapping Scare in Modimolle‼️

A one-year-old child was safely reunited with family on Tuesday night after being taken at knife-point from a home in Extension 7, Modimolle.

Police responded to a report from a local resident who was caring for her younger sister’s child when an armed individual entered the house, forcibly took the child, and left without saying a word. A neighbour quickly picked up a spade and followed the suspect to his residence, where he retrieved the unharmed child.

Authorities arrived on the scene and arrested the suspect soon after. Investigating officers confirmed that the incident was resolved without physical injury to the child. A knife, believed to have been used in the crime, was seized as evidence.

Police continue their investigation into the motive behind the incident. Community members are commended for their swift response and support.

Mokopane police have opened an inquest following the death of a learner at a school in the Waterberg District, Limpopo.

According to information provided by police, the incident occurred on 19 October 2025 at around 05:45 at a local high school in Mokopane. Authorities were alerted when officers received a call reporting that a learner had allegedly taken his own life.

Upon arrival at the scene, police discovered the body of the deceased in a room where he was residing. Emergency medical personnel from Limpopo EMS were called to the scene and certified the learner dead.

All relevant stakeholders were summoned to the scene, and police have since opened an inquest docket to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

‼️A one-year-old child was safely rescued after an alleged kidnapping incident at a residence in Modimolle Extension 7 on the evening of 18 November 2025.‼️

According to authorities, a woman was at home with a neighbour when a man armed with a knife allegedly entered the house and forcibly took the child from her arms without uttering a word.

The neighbour immediately intervened, taking a spade and pursuing the suspect to another nearby house. He managed to retrieve the child safely and return the infant unharmed.

Police officials arrived shortly thereafter and arrested the suspect. The knife used during the incident was confiscated and booked as evidence.

Authorities confirmed that the child is safe, with no injuries reported. The case is currently under active investigation.

Police commended the quick response and bravery of the community members involved and encouraged the public to continue working with law enforcement to ensure the safety and protection of children. The suspect is expected to appear in court soon.

According to information received, a 20-year-old woman reported that she was sexually assaulted by a man known to her. It is alleged that the suspect invited the victim to his shack under the pretext of collecting an item. Upon arrival, he allegedly threatened her with an axe and forced her to undress before ra**ng her.
Police spokespersons confirmed that a case of r**e has been opened at Lephalale SAPS.

The suspect has not yet been arrested, and investigations are continuing.

HOUSE ROBBERY INCIDENT INVESTIGATED IN BOTSALANONG VILLAGE

Botsalanong Village, Witpoort SAPS, Waterberg District — The South African Police Service in Witpoort is investigating a house robbery that took place on November 17, 2025, at approximately 15:00 in Botsalanong Village, Limpopo Province.

According to the report, the complainant returned home from a neighbor’s house and discovered four men at her residence, holding her three-year-old daughter. The intruders threatened to harm the child unless the complainant handed over money. In a state of fear, the complainant entered her home, where she was followed by the suspects, who proceeded to search the house and took R1,000 in cash before fleeing.

Police confirm that one suspect was recognized by the complainant and has since been arrested, while efforts are ongoing to trace and apprehend the other three men, who remain unidentified. All relevant authorities and stakeholders attended the scene, and the incident was reported to the police station. It is noted that the report was filed some time after the event occurred and that the case is yet to be officially registered.

‼️Woman Assaulted by Four Unknown Suspects in Early Morning Attack at Mahlakung‼️

A 24-year-old woman from Mahlakung informal settlement in Lephalale was the victim of a brutal attack in the early hours of Sunday, November 16, 2025. The assault reportedly occurred near a local tavern when the woman was approached by four unknown men while she was outside.

Authorities say that the first suspect made unwanted sexual advances towards the woman and, after she refused, allegedly forced himself on her. According to police, three other men then took turns committing the same crime. None of the suspects used protection during the assault.
