On Friday a chapter of my radio life came to an end on Mix 93.8

I struggle to come to terms with this stark reality of one of my happiest and most special times on air.

The listeners have been my life.

Every time I was on air , you were there.

Communicating with kindness and love.

I was blessed to have you in my orbit and I am forever indebted to each and everyone of you for giving more credit than I deserved.

There was never a time I ever felt I could have done better.

Theo Chaka my best friend and producer must take all the praise for ensuring the show focussed on the mission to bring you the best in music and entertainment.

I was nothing without him.

I would leave the studio to drive home reflecting wanting to give more because I loved every second of being with you.

I may have worked for the bosses but it was the audience that I will always feel were the judge and jury.

It was always YOU who I have unparalleled respect for.

You gave me this incredible career and I am forever in your debt.

I want to pay tribute to my family for their unwaivering support throughout my tenure.

They knew how much you meant and gave me space and time to do what I love.

I will be back. Thank you. 🙏❤️

My job is titled radio presenter.

I never imagined for a second I would be on air.

It was by total accident that I found myself behind the microphone.

I never did this job for fame and fortune. Heaven forbid.

I do it with gratitude, modesty and humility because I truly want to reach folks who are in need of love and validation.

If I can use this priviliged platform to make folks feel better about themselves and eliminate the darkness in their lives, that is when we both benefit.

If I can lift someone. That is all I want and all I ever wanted.

I revere my audience. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. I do not have fans. That would be insulting to you and me.

I have friends who give me far more credit than I will ever deserve.
