Can we talk about how strange phone culture has become?

One missed call now somehow turns into a
• second call immediately then a
• WhatsApp message or simply
• “???” and then comes
• voice notes

…all within about 90 seconds 😅

And if you still haven’t replied immediately, it gets taken as “why are you avoiding me?” instead of the far more realistic answer that you’re probably just busy working, driving, with clients, on site, with family or simply not glued to your phone every second of the day and are unavailable to take a call.

Business owners especially will understand this. Somewhere along the line, constant immediate availability became an expectation instead of a convenience.

This is why trees fall AFTER the storm ⚠️

The storm ends.
The wind drops.
Everyone exhales.

That’s the moment people get wrong.

Storms don’t usually take trees down.
They set them up.

Even a single day of rain can turn solid ground into sponge.
Roots lose their bite.
Tiny failures start underground, out of sight, out of mind.

The tree stays standing.
Not because it’s safe.
Because it hasn’t been tested yet.

Then comes:
• A quiet afternoon
• A light breeze
• Or nothing at all

And that’s when it happens.

Most dangerous failures don’t happen in the storm.
They happen 24–72 hours later, when the soil shifts and the root plate finally lets go.

If you notice:
• A new lean that wasn’t there before
• Soil lifting at the base
• Cracks forming in the ground
• A large tree close to a house, driveway, or power lines
Maybe you don’t notice anything at all.

That’s not “fine”.
That’s borrowed time.

This is the window most people miss.
Not because they don’t care.
Because everything looks calm again.
