I was saved from a petshop, I looked like a little scruffy baby not really growing feathers, someone mentioned the possibility of beak and feather disease and the petshop freaked out, they wanted to put me to sleep but a kind lady at the vet offered to take me in and all my medical expenses. They said yes. Tested negative for beak and feather and polyoma virus so it was decided I was just a little genetically challenged and grew slower than my friends. Now I'm looking for my forever home where I can be spoilt beyond what I deserve

Sywurms🐛

Is dit nie maar iets wat ons en ons ouers en hul ouers seker een of ander tyd by die huis aangebring het nie?

Ek onthou nog die laaste keer wat ek dit gewaag het om met 'n boks vol honger wurms by die huis in te stap. "Jy sal eendag verstaan as jy jou eie kinders het". Het my ma gesê, soos sy baie geïrriteerd moet rond ry agter blare aan. Die wurms kom mos voor die bome hul blare kry.

Ek geniet hoe my kinders die wurms geniet en leer hoe om hulle te versorg .

Interessante feite oor Sywurms

🐛Sywurms word slegs aangehou vir sy en kom glad nie meer in die natuur voor nie.

🐛Die mot van die sywurm kon altyd vlieg maar het hierdie eienskap verloor aangesien hy deur sy-vervaardigers aangehou word in omstandighede wat nie toelaat dat hy kan vlieg nie.

🐛6000 wurms word doodgemaak om slegs 1kg sy te vervaardig.

🐛'N sywurm se lewens siklus is tussen 6 en 8 weke.

Kinders geniet die verantwoordelikheid om Sywurms aan te hou en ons kweek 'n liefde vir alle lewende dinge in ons huis. 🐛

SASOLBURG - The Bongani Mabaso Eco Park in Sasolburg announced with sadness the passing of their much-loved adult female giraffe on 14 August, at the age of 16. The giraffe, who had lived in the park for 14 years, brought joy to visitors and staff alike. During her time, she gave birth to several calves, with one still residing in the reserve. According to the Eco Park, the giraffe reportedly stepped into a shallow ditch and fell. Despite swift efforts from more than 20 people, including game ranger David Dube, veterinarian Dr. Kobus Kok, and members of the Vaalpark community, she could not be saved. The Eco Park expressed heartfelt gratitude to everyone who tried to assist. The loss has left animal lovers across the Vaal Triangle heartbroken, as the giraffe had become a beloved symbol of the park’s wildlife family.
