Limpopo SPCA raises concerns over animal welfare against the Limpopo man Hadrick Makuya

Content creator Hendrick Makuya has been banned from feeding his dog, Bobby, KFC after a series of viral videos sparked outrage on social media and drew the attention of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

Makuya has been feeding Bobby with buckets of fried chicken since it was a puppy and posted several TikTok videos that quickly went viral. However, what he intended as humorous or affectionate content raised serious concerns among animal lovers and pet welfare organizations.

Bobby appeared thin and possibly malnourished, prompting a wave of criticism. Many flagged the content to the SPCA, questioning the dog’s overall health and diet.

Following public concern, SPCA officials visited Hendrick’s home to assess Bobby’s condition and educate the content creator about appropriate pet nutrition. The organization clarified that fast food like KFC—loaded with spices, salt, and preservatives—is not suitable for dogs.

The nurse put a ni**le inside the mouth of a man who has been in a coma for 8 months, and he wakes up

On the 16th of july 2025, a nurse from Mpumalanga South Africa working in the ICU department where patients are not responsive at all has found a way to make patients wake up from a coma. She said she discovered this while she was working nightshift and alone with one patient.

She placed her ni**le inside the mouth of a male patient, and the patient, who was in a coma for 8 months, woke up licking their lips. She did it to another patient just to prove her theory, and the other patient woke up saying "Ngiphe futhi mama" after they woke 9 months later from a coma.

Doctors tried everything to get him up but failed until nurse Samantha assisted with just a ni**le

Wits University looked into her doings and found out that the breast had nerve endings that could trigger the brain to come back to life and actually wake up patients from a coma.

Nurse Nomsa Mgilane encourages all female nurses to practice this and save as many lives as possible.

I killed my father

The Polokwane High Court has convicted Mologadi Magdeline Mehlape (28) after she pleaded guilty to the brutal murder of her father, Dr Malekutu Johannes Mehlape, who was a Circuit Manager at the Limpopo Department of Education. The incident occurred on 28 December 2023 at the deceased’s home in Mankweng Zone 1, outside Polokwane.

Mehlape was convicted in terms of section 112(2) of the Criminal Procedure Act 51 of 1977 on charges of murder and robbery with aggravating circumstances. The court sentenced her to life imprisonment for murder and 15 years’ imprisonment for robbery, with the sentences to run concurrently.

Four others accused, Tshepo Gabriel Ranoto (34), Hlologelo Klaas Mogotlane (34), Mahlodi Melida Mathole (34) and Michael Sello Molongoane (42) appeared alongside Mehlape. They face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, and possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. The trial for these accused has been separated and postponed to 20 June 2025 in the Polokwane High Court.

The court heard that Mehlape, who is the daughter of the deceased, orchestrated the murder following claims made by a traditional healer, Mogotlane (Accused 3), who alleged that her father was responsible for her mother's death through the use of "muthi". When attempts to retaliate using traditional means failed, Mehlape enlisted the help of various family members to hire a contract killer, agreeing to pay R200,000 for the murder.

On the night of the incident, Mehlape unlocked the gate and main door, granting the perpetrators access to the house. The deceased was ambushed in his bedroom while asleep, shot multiple times, and robbed of several valuables, including his cellphone.
