Introduction Part 1: Unveiling Grace ,God's path to effortless Transformation
In early 2020, the world was brought to a standstill by the outbreak of COVID-19. Panic spread globally as we navigated uncharted territories. Numerous industries were profoundly impacted, with some ceasing to exist entirely. Our nascent ministry faced significant uncertainty when the first lockdown was announced in South Africa. By God's grace, we swiftly adapted, transitioning to online meetings to keep the ministry active and vibrant. During this period, we launched three online programs. The first focused on relationships and marriage, the second was called Bible Basics and aimed to establish the saints in the finished work of Jesus Christ, and the third, held on Sundays, often featured a discussion format. This period taught us numerous lessons—so many that it could fill an entire book. It was also a hectic and exhausting time for our family, as we welcomed our first child amidst these challenges. Navigating so many major changes simultaneously, both personally and within our ministry, was incredibly difficult. However, by God's grace and mercy, we managed to adapt.
I share this with you because our experience stands as a living testimony to the existence of God and His provision in every situation. His unwavering grace was unveiled to us in ways we could never have imagined, showcasing His boundless provision and unconditional love. This period revealed that God's sufficient grace endured the test of time and exposed the fragility of the world and the failure of human plans. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Indeed, we witnessed firsthand the truth of this scripture, as His grace sustained us through every challenge.
