Elephants are wise, powerful, and deeply connected to the landscapes they call home. They shape their environment by creating waterholes, clearing pathways, and dispersing seeds, supporting countless other species in the process.

Through meaningful storytelling and impactful campaigns, we can inspire awareness, drive conservation action, and ensure that future generations inherit a world where elephants still roam wild and free.

Let’s keep their legacy alive!

Lions are iconic symbols of strength, unity, and the untamed spirit of Africa.

Lions are also a keystone species, playing a vital role in maintaining the balance of their ecosystems by controlling herbivore populations.

At Digital Khaki, we’re proud to work with conservation-focused brands who are committed to protecting these magnificent cats for future generations.

Every photo, reel and story shared can help raise awareness, inspire action, and ensure their roar is never silenced.

We’re incredibly proud to play a small part in something big.

Congratulations to our partners at Pangolin.Africa for winning the ATTA® Traveller Education and Awareness Award. A powerful recognition of their tireless work in pangolin conservation through the Pangolin Guardians programme.

At Digital Khaki, we have the privilege of helping share their message: that awareness leads to action, and education empowers protection. Standing tall for creativity this on the longest night (or day, depending on in which hemisphere you live!)

Fun fact: Giraffes are the tallest land animals on Earth...adult males can reach up to 5.5 metres (18 feet)! That’s taller than your average double-decker bus. A group of giraffes is called a tower...fitting, right?

Indian travellers are expected to increase by 5X by 2040, fuelled by increased passport ownership and eased visa policies.

They are digital-savvy and quick decision-makers, booking international flights with an average lead time of less than 50 days (For comparison, the average global lead time is nearly 70 days)

The linguistic and cultural diversity in India demands a localised approach from brands. The country has many different languages, with 10 of them having over 30 million native speakers each. And the majority of Indians prefer to use their local language to search and carry out tasks online.

Travel companies should focus on establishing - or increasing awareness of - their brand in these emerging and growing source markets now. By 2040, people should already know about your brand when they’re planning their next holiday, rather than discover you for the first time.

The future of travel belongs to the brands that are prepared.

Today is

A day to celebrate one of the planet’s most iconic and resilient creatures!

At Digital Khaki, we’re passionate about wildlife conservation, and creating awareness around endangered species. Rhino are facing immense challenges, from habitat loss to poaching. On average, a rhino is poached every 16 hours. Since 2008. 11,690 rhinos have been poached in Africa. Sobering, isn't it...

There are however so many heroes in conservation doing amazing things to help save this species and safeguard their future.

Let’s continue to raise awareness, support conservation efforts, and ensure that rhinos remain a symbol of strength for generations to come.

Celebrating

Here are five ways you can support elephant conservation, from anywhere in the world:

1. Raise awareness by sharing information about the threats facing elephants on social media.
2. Follow & donate to reputable conservation organizations that work to protect and preserve elephant populations. Elephants Alive have been tracking elephants in Southern Africa for 25 years. Learn more about what they do here - https://elephantsalive.org/
3. Avoid purchasing products made from ivory or participating in activities that exploit elephants for entertainment.
4. Support eco-tourism operators that promote responsible wildlife viewing practices and contribute to conservation efforts.
5. Educate yourself and others about the importance of elephants in maintaining healthy ecosystems and the critical role they play in biodiversity.

Celebrating Africa's keystone species this

World Lion Day aims to raise awareness about the importance of protecting lions and their habitats.

What is a keystone species?

Keystone species, like lions, play a pivotal role in the survival of many other species, plants and organisms. The loss of a keystone species sets off a chain reaction which alters the structure and biodiversity of their habitat, changing the landscape into something else entirely. Various environmental and human factors have been causing the population of lions to rapidly decrease for over 2 decades.
