Archer Aviation (NYSE: ACHR) has successfully completed the longest piloted flight for its Midnight aircraft to date, covering approximately 55 miles in 31 minutes at speeds exceeding 126 mph. The milestone flight took place at Archer’s flight test facility in Salinas, California, witnessed by United Airlines’ Chief Financial Officer, Mike Leskinen, who led the airline’s early investment in Archer.

Ethiopian Airlines Group (EAG) and the African Development Bank (AfDB) have signed a landmark mandate letter appointing the Bank as Initial Mandated Lead Arranger (IMLA) for financing the airline’s new mega airport in Bishoftu, Ethiopia. NOTICE FROM: FlySafair Operations Remain Stable Despite Potential Industrial ActionJohannesburg, 17 July 2025 – FlySafair confirms that, as anticipated, a strike certificate hasbeen issued to Solidarity and the Pilot Union following a CCMA meeting held on Thursday, 17July. The union is expected to issue a formal notice of intention to strike at any time from Fridaymorning, with industrial action potentially commencing on Monday or 72 hours after the noticeis issued.In preparation, FlySafair has already proactively adjusted its operational schedule to ensurecontinuity, and no disruption to flight operations is expected. Customers whose future travelplans have been aLected by these adjustments have already been notified via the contactdetails provided at the time of booking.Travellers wishing to review their flight details or, if aLected by rescheduling, change to a moreconvenient option may do so free of charge via the Manage Booking section at flysafair.co.za.“We deeply respect the rights of our employees to participate in this process,” said KirbyGordon, Chief Marketing OLicer at FlySafair. “It is our responsibility to balance the needs of ourpeople with the long-term sustainability of the company.
