Gigabytes Production is honored to have been part of Tshwane University of Technology’s Working Integrated Learning (WIL) 2024 debrief, where our co-founder, Bongani Baloyi, joined as an honored guest on October 23rd. Through the WIL program, we had the privilege of hosting two talented final-year students, Lwazi Mjuba and Lungisani Mjaji, and providing them with firsthand industry experience.
We are especially proud of Lwazi, who was recognized for his transformative growth during his time with us, gaining both technical skills and a deeper understanding of the professional demands of the production industry.
During the event, Bongani emphasized the importance of soft skills—like communication, multilingualism, and adaptability—that are often underrepresented in formal education. He encouraged students to embrace these skills to enhance their careers and overall development. As part of our commitment to empowering young professionals, particularly from rural areas, we are dedicated to closing these gaps and equipping future leaders for success in the world of production.
At Gigabytes Production, we aim to be more than a service provider; we are partners in community empowerment and industry innovation. We look forward to connecting with more partners and programs dedicated to shaping South Africa’s future industry leaders. 🌍💼✨
