PICHULIK invites the modern woman to channel her inner Joan of Arc, adorning herself not just with beauty, but with meaning, strength and story.

PICHULIK’s latest collection, Lacuna, explores the power of stillness as a threshold for transformation. Drawing on mythology, symbolism, and ancient forms, the collection incorporates motifs such as the pomegranate, a timeless emblem of abundance and collective wisdom, alongside circular brass conch elements and square-cut gemstones inspired by Byzantine ornamentation.

The result is a dialogue between shape and symbol. Sculptural rope meets gemstones, charms and relic-like adornments that act as ornament, armour and amulet.

This season also sees the introduction of PICHULIK’s first precious gemstone Rosa bead necklaces, and the debut of the Athena bag, created in collaboration with Shack Baby.

Set along the coastline with views of the Atlantic, Ceremony Matcha Bar has opened its doors, inviting Capetonians to slow down, sip intentionally and savour the ritual of matcha.

Founded by Mikayla McClean, Ceremony has been introducing South Africans to the quiet power of ceremonial-grade matcha since 2022. Now, that philosophy comes to life in a calming seaside space, designed for connection and presence.

Expect layered matcha lattes, roasted hōjicha with chai spices, delicate cold brews lifted with honey and florals, and savoury bakes with a Japanese twist, all crafted with intention. Beyond the counter, the bar is imagined as a community hub, hosting yoga flows, sound journeys and curated gatherings.
