For some of us, remaining consistent is one of the hardest things to do, because it becomes boring.
As kids we’d spend afternoons skipping rope. Most of us stumbled the first few times, but we kept at it, day after day. until our feet and hands moved in near perfect rhythm. Back then, we didn’t call it discipline or consistency. We just called it play.
One little girl in our street practised alone for weeks before she could join the others. By the time she stepped into the circle again, she wasn’t just skipping; she was gliding. Everyone cheered, but she knew it wasn’t magic. It was just small, daily effort.
Today, we take that lesson for granted. Whether it’s learning a new skill, saving for something big, or building a business, the secret is the same: show up a little every day.
Consistency turns awkward starts into effortless flow.
Keep at it, the results will show sooner than you can imagine.
