This isn’t your Ouma’s theatre night (though she’ll love it too) - it’s opera with a 2025 Cape Town twist. Think mistaken identities, love triangles, midnight parties, a masquerade and a scene set in the hottest jazz club in town: Club O.
It’s fashion-forward, funny (Alan Committie is Frosch the Jailor), and oh-so-extra. Perfect for a night out that’s part spectacle, part style, all unforgettable.

In Loving Memory of Rashid Lombard

It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of the legendary Rashid Lombard — a visionary, cultural custodian, and dear friend of the creative community.

Rashid’s impact stretched far beyond photography and jazz — he gave voice to the voiceless, captured the soul of our nation through his lens, and helped establish one of Africa’s most iconic musical gatherings, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the countless artists whose lives he touched. His legacy of light, activism, and artistic excellence will continue to inspire generations.
