Hi, I’m Tessa — lover of people, stories, and light.

This love has taken me around the world and shaped how I capture life’s moments. I’m originally from South Africa, where I filmed weddings and developed my natural, intimate approach. Before settling in California, I spent time teaching English literature in Hong Kong, which deepened my appreciation for diverse stories and the people behind them.

Now based in the Bay Area, California, I’m excited to tell stories of people in love — on their wedding day, in their favorite place, or in the middle of a season they want to hold onto a little longer.

I work documentary-style, which really just means I love to let things unfold. I notice the way people move around each other, the small gestures, the light as it changes.
