She is the author of two poetry collections, red cotton (2018) and Un******ng in Front of the Window (2015). She holds an MA in creative writing from Rhodes University and has taught at several universities in South Africa and the USA. gantsho is deeply involved in projects that encourage (black) feminine visibility and healing, including Ukuthula, a creative writing resistance to gender-based violence, and smallgirl rising connecting the Divine Black Feminine, an international poetry healing initiative.

My hope is that Molly and I take on the baton and move New Coin into a space that celebrates the vibrant multiplicity of poetry voices this landscape has to offer.”
