WATCH | An intense vehicle fire disrupted traffic on the N1 South near Mokopane , after a Raptor suddenly burst into flames.
A Ford Ranger Raptor was completely destroyed after catching fire on the N1 South highway in Limpopo,, near the Ysterberg cutting between Polokwane and Mokopane . The driver managed to pull over onto the hard shoulder after noticing thick black smoke billowing from the engine bay, but the vehicle was entirely engulfed by flames within minutes.
Emergency services attended the scene and successfully extinguished the blaze, with no injuries reported. The N1 Southbound saw significant delays as crews worked to clear the wreckage, with traffic diverted to alternative routes.
