Meet Claire Du Trevor, our 9th storyteller for the night. Clare will be sharing her rendition of a Perfect Storm.

Born and raised in sunny (yet somewhat doomed) Durban, is a passionate architect and urbanist, hellbent on spatial justice and urban regeneration. She believes cities should work better for the people who live in them—and isn’t afraid to dream up ways to make that happen.
She loves rollerskating, lazy mornings reading in bed, and anything covered in chocolate.
Despite years of presenting projects and funding pitches - she is still terrified of public speaking. But she’s never embarrassed herself enough to warrant never doing it again, so she finds herself here (tonight).

We are excited to hear Nissan Goldman’s story about a perfect storm.

Nissen is the 10th child of the 11 Goldmans, a first generation South African family of a multi generational chassidic rabbinic dynasty now spanning several continents. Nissen is proud high school drop-out and continues to prefer learning from experiences over text books. Which is ironic because he is a teacher and lectures in Jewish mysticism. Nissen describes himself as a rhythm ju**ie and will drum a beat out of anything he can get his hands on. He is a husband and father to 4 beautifully diverse and divergent children.

Introducing Jeremy Hare. A Southern Rights & Wrongs first timer.

Jeremy grew up in the deep South where his parents tried to get him an education, without much success. He had his 21st birthday on St Helena island in the middle of the Atlantic and then kinda spent a big part of the next 30 years on the ocean.

A firm Southern Rights & Wrongs favourite, Dumisa Lengwati will be joining us again on Tuesday with her version of a Perfect Storm.

is no stranger to the Southern Rights & Wrongs stage, Tuesday night being her 3rd time - Since she last bared her soul in 2020, she has moved into the relentless world of film as a Production freelancer, taken on rollerskating and performed 3 times in the Cape Town Carnival on skates, and also took to the burlesque stage under the moniker of ‘Nubia’, winning a Best Debut title in an international burlesque festival this past December. Life is not without its ups and downs, however, as she will share in her story next week

spiritual path is to Flow with Life. To the extreme. In the last five years, she has slept in hundreds of beds and sailed aboard twenty boats. She needs to spend as much time at sea and in the sea as possible, and crossed the Atlantic last year. Margot loves people and is fascinated by the different ways in which we approach Life. Also as a body-oriented psychotherapist and astrologer, her greatest intention is to inspire people to find and maintain their connection with the cycles of nature, and their own natural rhythm.

Welcome back whirlpool bath Luke! A firm favourite of Southern Rights & Wrongs.

is a copywriter from Pretoria, so you can understand why he now lives in Cape Town. He once went viral on Reddit because a rabbit ate his passport and he was deported from the UK as a result. Other than that, his life is fairly standard.
