Kriaitive is a Creative at Heart

By Michael Tamelinth (BeTheFirstToKnow)

Leaoa “Kriaitive” Mokone is not just a photographer; he is a talented artist behind the lens whose skills have become the talk of the town. Initially, photography was a means to make money for Mokone, as he aimed to sell his photos.

However, over time, he honed his craft and realized that photography has the power to transform people’s lives. He believes that when someone has a stunning photograph of themselves, it can significantly enhance their self-love and confidence. Now, he focuses on capturing beautiful images of people to foster better relationships with themselves.

Mokone specializes in Portrait Photography and has been a professional photographer since 2014, accumulating 12 years of experience.

“Great photography inspires people to aim higher. Everyone is on a journey to improve themselves and achieve a better image of who they are,” Mokone shared.

Among the challenges he faces in his craft is lighting. To address this, he utilizes various equipment such as lights, flashes, and reflectors to create the perfect shot. Equipment malfunction is another common hurdle, but Mokone’s knowledge of camera setups helps him navigate these situations effectively.

He encourages young people by sharing, “The number one thing that all great people have in common is that they never gave up on their dreams. So never give up; push through the challenges.”
