So the last stretch for the Normandy Diorama....Leibstandarte soldiers and officer.. finally painting figures ( a job I hate,.... well used to hate.). Reckon by Sunday I can finish up on the diorama and add the furniture for the interiors... then just the "backdrop"....

Story line is evolving.... and finer details making the difference. Birds nest is about 4mm, eggs are about 1.5mm.... I've decided to make the overall scene more relaxed, the calm before the storm kind of vibe.... now few final details.

Building interiors, perhaps some bricks and a barbed wire barricade in front of the tank ( Illusion of a longer street... and then...I've had the brain wave/ brain fart of adding a solid backdrop to the front side of the tank, hand painted street scene to give visual depth to the scene. Adding a pic from the net which I will use as my guideline. So I reckon another week or two and she will be done.

Then I can start to document my next build, how I get inspired, and what methods and materials used to get the desired effect and finish.
