TOP COP ACCUSED: VEREENIGING POLICE BRIGADIER NDABA SNARED IN OBSTRUCTION CLAIMS

VEREENIGING - Vereeniging's police chief, Brigadier Sibongile Ndaba, is accused of obstructing justice by allegedly interfering with a criminal case against her former colleague and friend, Lieutenant Colonel Sena, a former Sebokeng police officer facing attempted murder charges.

Ndaba reportedly advised Sena to complain about the investigating police, claiming the probe wasn't favouring him due to his ex-copper status. Legal experts say if true, this is a severe misuse of authority, undermining due process and the rule of law. The allegations come amid scrutiny of SAPS over senior officials' power misuse.

Author’s Introduction: Why I Wrote This Book

I wrote this book for the woman who keeps starting over and secretly wonders if something is wrong with her.

I wrote it for the woman who has tried more than one business, more than one dream, more than one version of herself — and has been made to feel inconsistent, unrealistic, or confused because of it.

As a Christian, my journey has never been just about business. It has been about obedience, trust, surrender, and learning to hear God’s voice above my own fears.

This book was born from prayer-filled nights, quiet tears, and moments where I asked God, “Is it me, or am I missing You?”

For a long time, I thought my story was messy.

Now I understand that my journey was divine preparation.

Every business I tried was not a detour — it was training. Every ending was not a failure — it was refinement. And every restart was proof that God was not finished with me.

If you are reading this while standing in uncertainty, know this: delay is not denial. God often develops us privately before He positions us publicly. His plan is to prosper us and not harm us.

This is my story... It is my living testimony.

SABOTAGE SUSPECTED AS SIMBOS SASOLBURG HIT: CABLES CUT

SASOLBURG – Thursday morning brought a jolt of dismay to Zamdela residents and loyal patrons of Simbos, the buzzing chicken dust and entertainment hotspot. Overnight, vandals struck, cutting crucial electrical cables. The outage plunged Simbos into darkness, crippling operations and rippling disruptions to other nearby businesses.

"We couldn't work as there was no electricity, said one of the nearby employees of another business".

The Chicken dust business says it has been accused of underage drinking even though they only sell food.

Whispers in the community are that Simbos meteoric rise has ruffled feathers among competing entertainment joints in Sasolburg.

Since opening its doors in Zamdela, Simbos has drawn crowds like a magnet, poaching patrons and turning itself into the go-to night destination. Its thriving tables and sizzle have, in turn, left other spots struggling.

Many believe the cable cut was a deliberate act of sabotage aimed at silencing the venue’s success. With packed nights and a reputation that’s hard to ignore, Simbos has apparently disrupted the local entertainment balance.

"HE HAS BEEN FOUND IN A BAD STATE, THEY CLEANED HIS BANK ACCOUNTS AND TOOK HIS PHONE", SAYS WIFE

EVATON – A frantic night ended in confusion and relief for the family of Moeketsi Mokoena, a man from Boitumelo, who vanished under peculiar circumstances and was found hours later in a bad state.

According to his wife, Moeketsi had went outside last night to shut the gate, clad only in green trackpants, "And then suddenly his phone went off", she said.

Though Moeketsi has been found, the ordeal has left a bitter financial and personal toll: his phone had been tampered with, and all the money in his bank accounts had been drained.

"He has been found in a bad state, they cleaned his bank accounts and took his phone, but atleast he is safe", said his wife.

MIDVAAL MUNICIPALITY TAKES ACTION AGAINST LAWLESSNESS

Midvaal Local Municipality recently led a joint operation in De Deur and Walkerville, addressing community concerns about lawlessness. The operation involved SAPS, Immigration, Traffic Services, Fire Department, and Health Inspectors.

The operation yielded significant results, with 49 individuals, 14 vehicles, and 2 premises searched. A total of 7 arrests were made, including 4 foreign nationals without valid documentation, 1 individual for selling illicit ci******es, and 2 individuals for aiding and harbouring undocumented persons.

Additionally, a mini roadblock was conducted, resulting in fines for unroadworthy vehicles and drivers using cell phones while driving. Inspections were also carried out at 11 spaza shops, leading to 4 non-compliance warnings and the closure of 2 shops due to expired food products and unhygienic conditions.
