EGO SUBLIMATION, LETTING GO OF SELF-CENTEREDNESS, BECOMING A VESSEL OF POSSIBILITY

Do you ever wonder if your self-definition has become too rigid, too fixed around what you’ve come to learn, so that you contract your life into zones of “safe” versus “unsafe”? This here is okay, but over there, well, that might be too risky! Judgment, fear, self-righteousness, and overconfidence are only some of the traits that keep you from evolving.
We are all products of our conditioning, so remember that this is part of the human experience. Yet you are not meant to remain static; seeking only what you expect, even if it appears ambitious, is still too narrow. You go nowhere when you hesitate to move out of your comfort zone. When you focus too much on yourself this way, you become a servant of the ego; it “edges God out,” removing the magic of possibility.
Imagine looking into a mirror and seeing only what you are now. If you can let your self-definition soften, moving beyond the veil to your potential, a magical emptiness exists where all things are possible! Look again—who could you be? What would you see reflected if you allowed yourself to be other than how you define yourself now? Nothing less is required of you now. In this moment, let go of who you think you are, and allow a new you to emerge. You will recognize yourself as what you are, a partner in co-creation, in service to the Divine. Doesn’t it feel good?

Guidance for today - Sunday 17th August 2025:

AN UNPRECEDENTED EXPERIENCE, DISCOVERY, REVELATION

You are called now to embark on a sacred journey. The Arthurian knights in their quest for the Holy Grail had to make sure to take an unmarked trail that no one had ever followed, or they would not accomplish their goal. Likewise, you must enter the darkest forest of your soul via a route as yet unidentified to find what you seek. The manicured paths will bring you only temporary pleasure and later great pain.
Stop it! You already know there is no reward at the end of the road you are following. You are only killing time. Pause, breathe, and commit in your heart to a sacred endeavor. Vow to not look for old solutions that may have worked with past challenges. Get out of character, try the outrageous, and keep your quest private. Now is not the time to speak of the voice that called you to embark on the Unmarked Trail. That time will come.
The Unmarked Trail can be a sign that you have already made a choice, even if you do not want to acknowledge it. Be at peace with what your heart knows to be true. Your heart has already been “made up,” and your mind will follow. Pack lightly, taking with you only essential beliefs that you know to be trustworthy under all circumstances. The Universe has your back.

CONFIDENCE IN YOUR MAGIC, NOTHING CAN STOP YOU, THE BEAUTY YOU SEEK

When the Magician’s Sword appears, you are called to cut the cords that bind you to old thought forms and beliefs, or to friends who are not true. With the power of the Magician’s Sword, nothing can stop you, hurt you, or turn you away from the beauty you seek or the goal you desire with all your heart. The sword is a tool, not a weapon, so make sure you wield it wisely and for the greater good. Find the stuck places where you are kept tethered to a toxic person, a particular location, or a faulty thought or belief, and let the blade do its magic.
You have a large endowment of magic available to you when you believe in miracles. But don’t look to the heavens to grant you a wish; look within. Use the Magician’s Sword to cut through limiting beliefs (and remember that all beliefs are limiting), and focus your intention in order to create what you wish. You have all the tools you need for the task at hand; you need only muster the wherewithal to deploy the resources you have.
When the Magician’s Sword appears, it is time to get moving. This is not a tool for contemplation—for gazing at the finely polished edge. It is an instrument calling for decisive action. TREASURES HIDDEN IN THE SHADOWS, THE GREAT MYSTERY, EPIPHANY

Will-o’-the-Wisp hovers in her luminescent glory above the twilight moors of your life, whispering for you to step into the fog, into the mystery, the unknown. You may have been visited by her before—but, though intrigued, you refused her invitation. It would be safer, you decided, to remain on the journey you know. While you always have a choice as to whether to follow her or not, you never know when you might encounter her again. In this sense, turning away has its own consequences. ELIMINATING TOXIC THINKING, REPAIRING THE BODY/MIND/SPIRIT, CLEANING HOUSE

When the Me-Tox card appears, it challenges you to discard the deep, dearly held judgments that you have passed over yourself and others. Release the people who you feel wronged or offended you. Recognize that they mirror the shadow aspects of your own soul. (Yes, it is a tough pill to swallow.) Only then can you cull from your life the toxic people you have allowed into your inner circle.
It’s time for a cleaning of your proverbial house. Get rid of the thoughts and personal judgments poisoning your mind; eliminate the inauthentic beliefs of others you’ve adopted as your own. Do so before your mind makes you sick. And empty your literal cupboards of the unhealthy junk food poisoning your body. Fast for one day, or skip a meal to allow your body to cleanse itself and rid itself of toxins.
Me-Tox appears as a warning that you can no longer postpone the self-care and pampering you long for. The time is now. Do healthy maintenance on your body, before you have to make repairs that you will never quite recover from. Me-Tox has come to caution you that it is not too late, but you are at the eleventh hour. Do not deprive yourself of the health you deserve.

FEELING LOST, NEEDING DIRECTION AND FOCUS, A 24-HOUR DAY

Sometimes in life, we lose our way, perhaps falling prey to addictive behaviors, jealousy, comparison, resistance, or fear. This happens especially when we are upleveling and genuinely changing for the better. A part of us, hiding in the vast expansiveness of space, wants to sabotage our progress. In the transformation process, our inner world no longer feels safe or inhabitable as we find that our thoughts and beliefs have morphed beyond recognition.
You may find yourself adrift in this way right now, unable to focus or determine the next step. You might be tired and simply need to regroup and rest. When you lack direction, the first thing to do is redirect your perspective of time. Like a newborn baby who needs swaddling to feel safe, you’re invited to reduce your life-visioning to the next 24 hours. Anyone can handle living in 24-hour compartments, which allows everything to feel grounded and manageable. You get lost in space when you imagine being swallowed up in the giant vastness of the future, with its dark uncertainty, or reflect on how your past has held you captive in a hall of distorted never-ending mirrors, reminding you of your mistakes and flaws, failures and losses. Take heart that the simple 24-hour container immediately banishes those two “awful eternities” away. You will find your energy and focus restored as you recognize that you were never lost at all. Keep it simple. Right now, conserve your energy and take care of you in basic, fundamental ways, and the world will be right again.

AN INVITATION TO ACT NOW, THE COURAGE TO STEP INTO LIFE, SHELTERING FROM TURBULENCE

When the Perfect Storm appears, it cautions you to be ready for an exciting, if turbulent, time. The winds are picking up, and you need to make sure that you are close to the eye of the storm or you will be buffeted by gusts that may take you far from where you need to be. The key is to remain centered and balanced and bear witness as the forces build in intensity. Notice how the loose stuff is starting to fly around, and recognize how little of it you truly need. Let go of those thoughts, beliefs, and attitudes that clutter your heart and cloud your mind. Then the storm will be absolutely perfect for you.
If you wonder what you might lose during the Perfect Storm, know that it is those things we are most attached to that are taken first, as if life were trying to unburden us of our righteous self-importance. Let it all go with the wind. The less you resist the change brought by the Perfect Storm, the happier you will be. Ride the winds to your next destination; embrace the rain or snow. Remember that every time you try to argue with nature, you lose.
The Perfect Storm can also be a call for you to seize the moment. There might be a great opportunity that you need to take advantage of right now. Carpe diem! Here, time is of the essence. It may be gone shortly, so do not hesitate. Go ahead: bite off more than you can chew, and take the storm on in all its terrifying greatness, experiencing the fullness of life. You will succeed.

MOVEMENT TOWARD ADVENTURE, ADDICTION TO PROBLEMS, ALLOWING AND TRUSTING THE CURRENT

The Spirit of the River invites you to step into the flow, to stop swimming against or avoiding the current. Allow the waters to carry you downstream, away from the eddies and whirlpools. It’s time to heed the call of a new adventure waiting for you.
Stop working on the problem for a while. The issue is not what it seems; it is your addiction to fixing what has gone bad that is consuming so much of your time. Work to create a greater good, and the bad will resolve itself on its own. There is nothing that you can accomplish with more “efforting,” as the situations in your life right now are subject to forces beyond your control. Recognize this, step back, and trust the flow. There is no loss of face or lack of honor or integrity. It is simply the way things are at this moment.
When this card appears, it is time to say yes to the next leg of your journey. Your life is like a river, inevitably and inexorably flowing to the sea, which is your divine destination. Be fearless and release yourself to the rushing water in the middle of the stream. Whatever it is you are holding on to—the feelings, the thoughts, the beliefs about how things are or how they should or could be—can be fixed easily with the power of the Spirit of the River. When a Sky Dancer appears, she is inviting you to welcome the deepest power of the feminine into your life. You have already overanalyzed your situation to exhaustion. Now is the time to invite the sacred feminine—the wisdom within your heart, no matter your gender—to guide you to success.
If you have become earthbound, plodding and planning and praying for change, cease and desist. Break the habit of being yourself, of repeating the same behavior and hoping for a different outcome. Stop trying to figure it all out, and stop overthinking it. Surrender.
The Sky Dancers are heralding the arrival of a new relationship—with yourself, in your work, or in your love life. Do not assume that this person or opportunity will rescue you. The only way to liberation is to kiss the ground good-bye and take flight, to rise above the fray and the drama of the struggling, arguing mind. Dance in the sky, and view the madness below. There is a game of power played by all people, whether they’re conscious of it or not. It concerns who has it and who doesn’t . . . how to get more of it and not to lose that which you have . . . how to wield it wisely and not to get drunk with it and cause harm.
These are the matters you need to ponder now that you find yourself in the Crown Game too.
You want to be on top, the best, the most effective, the most beloved. You may discover that your deep desire to help others is disguising the underpinnings of this complex game. Power, and all it entails, can be both dangerous and productive, destructive and redemptive. Which will it be for you? Can you forgive without condoning and keep your dignity when challenged? Will you be accountable, amenable to change or making amends? Can you let go of your need to rescue others? Lead with humility while letting others discover their way home.
Now, you’re learning that empowerment comes with a price and a sacrifice for sovereignty. This is a time to pick your battles, use strategy, and temper your reactions. You have the power to make a beautiful difference on behalf of others. Can you see power as a currency that you must spend judiciously?
True power is stewarded wisely, for it is given from the Divine, not from the ego. In all your relations, the greatest beauty is when power is shared. If you are in a higher position, it’s even more important to be kind and respectful.
Ask for guidance. It will come when you choose compassion over your own goals and desires.When you stop caring about who wears the crown, true success and influence appear for you.
