Please mark this date off in your calendars and let us plan for the inaugural Young Chefs Day next year.

Letter of Apology

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

Let it be known to all concerned; that on this day today 31 August 2018; that I, Shaun Smith herewith extend my sincere apology towards the SA Chefs Association, its Board of Directors, Committees and its Members; in particular Mr Manfred Muellers, Mr Heinz Brunner, Mr Stephen Billingham and Mr Kabelo Segone in regards to the incident which occurred during the period leading up to the SA Chefs AGM; by uploading and publishing SACA information on social media platform Facebook, which was inappropriate and has as such negatively affected the named association, its affiliated members and individuals as mention above.

The issued apology shall herewith be binding and absolute and shall herewith serve as a formal apology to all mentioned names accused.

Congratulations to KZN Young Chef Monique A Dunn from The Fusion Cooking School for winning the SA National Worldskills competition held over the past 3 days this week. As the Gold medal winner she stands the chance to represent South Africa at the International Worldskills competition to be held in Abu Dhabi in October this year. Pictured here with her is her mentor, previous Worldskills winner and SA Chefs KZN YCC chair Tayla Schou also from Fusion Cooking School - Musgrave Campus. Well done ladies on putting KZN young chefs on the culinary map :)
