Ons is so geseend want vanjaar vier ons die bestaan van Afrikaans. Op 8 Mei 1925 het afrikaans as n taal ontstaan.

Afrikaans skep geleenthede, bewys dat die taal meer is as net n taal. Ons is nie net trots op Afrikaans nie, maar op die baken van die taal, deur kuns, innovasie of leierskap, en om die stemme te versterk van diegene wat die stories en tradisies van hul voorvaders versterk ongeag jou agtergrond, ras of velkleur.
