🌕 Celebrating Mid-Autumn Together 🌕

On 5 October 2025, we had the pleasure of meeting with a few leaders from Zhejiang Industry and Trade Vocational College. They took the time to share some delicious mooncakes, a few laughs, and heartfelt well-wishes.

As someone new to these traditions, I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to learn and immerse myself in Chinese culture—and, of course, indulge in some of those tasty mooncakes!

The Mid-Autumn Festival is a celebration of reunion, gratitude, and the beauty of the full moon. It reminds us that even when we are miles apart, we can share in the same moments of grace and reflection. As a Chinese poem beautifully expresses:

“Wishing us a long life to share the beauty of this graceful moonlight,
Though miles apart, we'll share the beauty of the moon.”

Here’s to learning, laughter, and the quiet magic of the moonlight that connects us all. 🌕✨

✨ My Thoughts About China ✨

I’ve been here for a few months now, and it’s nothing like what I expected — in the best way possible. Wenzhou and the places we’ve visited feel incredibly safe, and that peace of mind is something I’ll never take for granted. The people here have also taught me so much — even without words, kindness always finds a way to be understood.

And then there’s the food… nothing compares to authentic Chinese cuisine. Every dish has been an adventure, full of flavor and tradition.

But beyond all of this, the most beautiful part has been my own personal growth. Living here has challenged me, stretched me, and opened my eyes in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

China has truly left its mark on me. 🇨🇳❤️

So, you know how everyone assumes working for yourself is all fun and games? 😅 Well… it is and it isn’t.

When you fail, it’s on you. Bills still need to be paid. The pressure? All yours. But here’s the kicker—the satisfaction of generating income out of nothing but hard work and determination? 🏆 Priceless.

Yes, I fail sometimes. But sulking isn’t an option—if I don’t push, no one else will. That’s the thing about entrepreneurs… we’re built different. 💪

🌿 I want to be a person that makes someone believe in good again.

🌿 Whatever happens today, I’ll take it on the chin and trust that everything happens for a reason.

🌿 I believe I never fight battles alone — with the grace of God, I always have Him by my side.

Had some time today to reflect and understand what God has planned for me. I'm still unsure of the details, but I know there's a purpose. Thinking back to times I felt alone and helpless, not knowing what tomorrow held, seems scary now. But I understand I was never alone – how could I have survived otherwise? For He was and is always with me. Being surrounded by loved ones was His mercy. Opportunities granted, failures faced, successes achieved – all His mercy.

Some people looking from the outside might see glamour, but despite my daily struggles, I choose life, I choose happiness. So today, try to be thankful for the little things in life. It might not seem like you have enough, but that's because you think you're doing things by yourself, with no one beside you. Trust in Him – leave your struggles in His hands and put your mind at ease. It sounds hard, but once you get the hang of it, it'll seem like a breeze.
