Mush*tala Football Club President, Happy Chitanga, could not hold back the tears.
Moments after Mush*tala defeated Dipex via a dramatic penalty shootout to qualify for the National Division Play-Offs, the emotional club president broke down right on the pitch, struggling to believe what he had just witnessed.
And honestly, who could blame him?
A fully packed Mukula Ground in Manyinga witnessed one of the fiercest provincial encounters North Western Province has seen in recent years. From the first whistle to the final penalty, the atmosphere was electric, tense and emotional.
What started as a football match is now slowly becoming one of the biggest rivalries in North Western Province football.
