Boys Don’t Cry… But He Did.

He was 11 when he stopped smiling for real.
Not because life was too hard.
But because no one noticed when it was.

They called him “strong” because he didn’t cry at the funeral.
They clapped him on the back and said,
"Man of the house now."
His small hands were shaking while tying his own shoelaces for school the next day.

No one asked if he was okay.
They just gave him responsibilities and called it “raising a man.”

He missed his mom’s voice the most. Not because she spoke the most — she didn’t. But because when she looked at him, it felt like she heard the things he couldn’t say.

Now, all he had was silence.

At school, he laughed when they joked. But inside, he wondered if anyone saw the cracks in his eyes. He fought other boys, not because he was violent — but because pain needs somewhere to go.

At night, he stared at the ceiling and prayed like a grown man.
But he still slept holding a pillow like a child.

One day, his teacher found a crumpled notebook under his desk. She read it in the staff room. Page after page — poems. Deep, aching things no 12-year-old should know. Lines like:

> "I don’t know what I’m growing into.
I just know no one’s looking."

"I miss being small enough to be held.
Now I’m just expected to hold it together."

The teacher cried. She tried to talk to him. He just nodded and said,
"I’m fine."
Because that's what boys are trained to say.

---

And when he turned 16, he told his younger cousin:

> “If the world ever makes you feel too heavy… don’t carry it alone.
Not all strong boys survive.”

He smiled when he said it —
but that smile was the softest scream the world never heard.

I tried the Ai prompt trend😄

1. Open ChatGPT

3. Paste this Prompt

A hyper-realistic close-up portrait of a young lady’s face, with full face visible and partially submerged in water. The scene is illuminated dramatically with soft, ambient blue and pink neon lighting, casting colorful reflections on her wet skin and damp hair. Water droplets and small bubbles cling to her face, enhancing the cinematic mood. The skin texture, and intense eye focus are clearly visible.
