CDF in Action | Improving Learning Environments in Kabwe

Development in Kabwe continues to take shape under the leadership of President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND administration, through targeted investments delivered via the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).

The before and after works at Katondo BOCCs Primary School Ablution Blocks, currently nearing completion and valued at K750,000, are a clear demonstration of CDF translating into improved learning environments. Once completed, the facility will provide safe, hygienic, and dignified sanitation for pupils and staff, contributing to improved health, school attendance, and overall learning outcomes.

Through the guidance and representation of Kabwe Central Member of Parliament, Hon. Chrizoster Halwindi, CDF resources continue to be directed toward people-centred projects that respond directly to community needs, particularly within the education sector.

Delivered courtesy of CDF 2025, this project reflects the UPND government’s firm commitment to improving education infrastructure and safeguarding the welfare of our children. As citizens, we are called upon to support the UPND government to sustain this progress, protect the gains being made, and ensure continuity of development for a stronger and more prosperous Zambia.

This page remains committed to documenting CDF in action and sharing verified updates on development taking place across Kabwe and the nation.

Institution: Natuseko “C” Primary School
Ward: Kaputula Ward
