Today, we are honored to welcome former Minister of Science and Technology, Felix Mutati. We are deeply grateful for his generous donation of two 85-inch TVs to our institution.

As the Minister of Entertainment and Arts, I had the privilege of traveling to Lusaka to collect them on behalf of our team.

SUSPENSION OF WORLD CUP SCREENINGS

Dear Fellow Students,

The NSU Executive wishes to inform the student body that, effective today and moving forward, the Union will no longer project World Cup games or any other outdoor screenings on campus.

This decision has been made with a heavy heart due to the continued poor conduct observed after these events.

Students are taking chairs and desks out of classrooms for seating, but failing to return them after the games. This leaves the Union Executive with the responsibility of collecting and returning property back into the classrooms

The photos attached show the state we are left to deal with after every screening. This is not the culture of responsibility we want at NORTEC.
Until we can show discipline and respect for college property, these screenings cannot continue.

We apologize to all students who conduct themselves well. We hope this pause will remind us all that the Union is for service, not for cleaning up after carelessness.

Let’s do better. Let’s protect our college.
