Thank you so much David Kashiki. This means the world to me😊. Everything I know about Business Communication I learnt from this guy... 😇
MEET MY EX-BOSS: We always argued on ideas to see the light of the day in the company we worked for, years back.
Mutinta Milambo and I were a pair with different strengths and weaknesses. I remember how we led a team of creatives during the COVID-19 outbreak. We worked for a school establishment, and it meant money was not going to be coming in. I recall the CEO coming to our department, and asking us to find ways we were going to keep resources coming in after government announced the indefinite closure of schools.
We locked ourselves in, and started dissecting ways and means to have the company survive beyond the pandemic. Zoom, was just coming in, and had not become as popular. I recall us tasking the IT experts in the department, to find ways of using the platform, effectively. Soon after, the program was rolled out, with tutors undergoing training.
Madam Tints, as I fondly called her, was the Research and Business Development Department Manager, and I deputised her on marketing and communication.
While she worked at the institution, Mutinta birthed great ideas which were later pursued and I must say, are very lucrative and the organisation is making a lot of money from the same.
In case you're waiting for an R.I.P, you won't get it because I am not the kind to praise and celebrate people when they're dead.
I am celebrating Mutinta today because of the kind of leader she was while we worked together, which I believe she still is wherever she is. I know her passion, I know her energy and creativity. The greatest part about arguing on ideas is that, it doesn't get personal but refines the ideas to stand a test of time.
She's a business development consultant of many years, and her customer care is unmatched.
Keep doing great things, Tints. Here are your flowers 💐.
