Life in the New Testament Vs Life in the Old Testament

Episode 3 of the series 🔥🔥

In the first Pentecost,the Israelites where at the foot of mount Sinai,Moses gave them the law and 3000 people died.

In the second Pentecost of the Covenant of Grace,50 day after ester the disciples where gathered,not at the foot of the mountain but in the upper room and God gave out not the law but the Spirit 🔥🔥🔥and 3000 people saved.

The later killeth but the Spirit gives life🔥🔥 e

LIFE IN THE OLD TESTAMENT VS LIFE IN TH E NEW TESTAMENT

Old Testament is a relationship between God
and man based on man’s performance and
ability to meet certain standards he could not
meet while The New Testament is a relationship
between God and the man that has believed the
gospel based on what Christ has done on man’s
behalf.

Understanding the difference between life
In the new testament and life in the Old Testament is a fundamental way to reign in life. Otherwise you
will live a life that is neither here nor there, not
sure if you have victory or have to fight for
victory. Man has been given Jesus level authority
after the cross that was not there before the
cross. Before the cross, man's righteousness
before God was considered as filthy rags before
God. But after the cross, the man who accepts
Christ receives the gift of righteousness without
works.
“But to him that worketh not, but
believeth on him that justifieth the
ungodly, his faith is counted for
righteousness. Even as David also
describeth the blessedness of the
man, unto whom God imputeth
righteousness without works,”
Romans 6 :4-5

The basis of reality with God has changed,
previously it was based on man’s effort. After
the cross, it is based on what Jesus has done.
Everything now is based on grace not our
righteousness or performance.
