PLAN B TO DELIVER IT'S MANDATE

Despite the unorganized judgment delivered by the Constitutional Court, former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu has assured Zambians that Plan B will deliver its mandate and bring back the high cost of living in the COUNTRY to normal due to fake promises by the current government in power.

It is no secret that many Zambians are currently struggling to make ends meet due to the high cost of living. Prices for basic necessities such as food, rent, and utilities continue to rise, making it increasingly difficult for individuals and families to afford a decent standard of living.

The current government has promised to address these issues and improve the living conditions of all Zambians. However, their actions have fallen short of their words, and many citizens are losing faith in their ability to deliver on their promises.

Former President Lungu, on the other hand, has a plan to turn things around. Plan B is a comprehensive strategy that aims to revitalize the economy, create jobs, and lower the cost of living for all Zambians. By focusing on sustainable development, investment in key sectors, and support for small businesses and farmers, Plan B offers a realistic and effective solution to the country's economic woes.

While the Constitutional Court may have ruled recently against Lungu , his determination and commitment to improving the lives of Zambians cannot be understated. He has shown time and time again that he is willing to fight for the people and make the tough decisions necessary to bring about real change.

In conclusion, it is clear that the current government has failed to deliver on its promises, and Zambians are suffering as a result. Former President Edgar Chagwa Lungu and Plan B offer a ray of hope in these challenging times. It is time for Zambians to rally behind Lungu and his vision for a better future. Together, we can overcome the challenges we face and build a more prosperous and equitable society for all.

If Mweetwa wants to know Plan B, let him ask Hichilema to call Lungu - Tonse Alliance

THE Tonse Alliance headed by former President Edgar Lungu has revealed that the Plan B which the alliance is claiming to be in motion can only be discussed at presidential level.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/19m8w3DEc9/?mibextid=oFDknk

Yesterday, Chief Government spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa demanded that Lungu’s Plan B must be made available to the public so the country can know if it is lawful or not.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lusaka today, Tonse Alliance spokesperson Sean Tembo stated that if Mweetwa wanted to know what Plan B really is, then he should ask President Hakainde Hichilema to talk to Lungu.

Tembo said just because Lungu said he had accepted the decision of the Constitutional Court on Tuesday, it does not mean he can’t challenge it.

“Our Plan B is actively in motion, as to what Plan B is, our advice to Cornelius is that Plan B can only be discussed at presidential level. If Cornelius wants to know what Plan B is, then he should ask his president to get in touch with our president at that level they will discuss Plan B,” he said.

The alliance has failed to accept the Court’s ruling on Lungu’s eligibility where he was declared ineligible to contest future elections.

Tembo claimed that the judgement given was unlawful stating that the Constitutional Court had no right to review its decisions.

“We don’t accept the judgement because it’s illegal, the ConCourt has no jurisdiction to review or depart from its previous decision. The Supreme Court is the only one with that power. It has the power through written law. The Zambian constitution does not give power to the ConCourt to do that. We have decided to reject the decision because the reasons they gave are baseless and have no water,” lamented Tembo.

And Tonse Alliance Spiritual leader Danny P**e maintained that Lungu remains the Presidential candidate for Tonse Alliance in the 2026 general election.

P**e is confident that his boss will emerge victorious in 2026.

“It’s not over and President Lungu will be the eighth president, we want to assure you that the UPND will lose,” he said.

Even if you are sworn in and after a day you die, it’s a term - Hichilema

PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has described Tuesday’s judgement on the eligibility of former President Edgar Lungu as excellent, relating it to how the Public Private Dialogue Forum (PPDF) should operate with intent and clarity.

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FcfG68FTr/?mibextid=oFDknk

Officiating at the third PPDF Day in Lusaka yesterday, President Hichilema stated that the Constitutional Court gave all the benchmarks as to why they arrived at the decision.

“If you listen to the excellent judgement on the eligibility, what the ConCourt argued was that we have given all the benchmarking why this decision is being made. But more importantly what was the intention of the Zambians when they conceived the issue of a limited term, it was not to allow anybody to do more than two terms, they didn’t care whether it was five years or whatever happened there. But more than two, elected once, twice that’s it.”

“Even if you were sworn in and after a day you die, it's a term. What am I saying, the intention of this platform is to get things done, that’s the intention of this PPDF, to get things done so we can grow the economy and create jobs. Whether you are ministers, PSs, just get things done. If you are not sure ask someone else,” said President Hichilema.

The Head of State added that three years of working with the private sector has proved to be fruitful stating that he could now say that the public and private sectors now understood each other.

“Now three years down the line we understand each other. I want to see judgement cause on this platform, the third platform like this, I can afford to say these things. First platform, we were setting up things, second, beginning to understand each other and third, we now understand each other,” he said.

The President further touched on the need for mutual respect in the two sectors to promote more dialogue.

“Dialogue means mutual respect, some people are so rude that they write to a minister that if I were the president, I would fire you. Really? Just write what you want done and what you don’t and deliver it to the PPDF since you are so arrogant and can’t reason with others,” stated the Head of State...https://kalemba.news/local/2024/12/13/even-if-you-are-sworn-in-and-after-a-day-you-die-its-a-term-hichilema/
