"CONCRETE JUNGLE, A FASHION WITH A TWIST OF INDIVIDUALITY"

Btrfly Jo in collaboration with Lu_denis.x. hosted the Re-Activition that took place on the 20th of April, 2025 at Tidye Nyama Restaurant in Woodlands.

The second edition of the Activation saw a number of creatives who came together and showcased their skills. This included models, musicians, photographers, designers, content creators etc, who gathered together and contributed to the growth of the creative movement.

One of the prominent individuals who showcased their merchandise on the the run way are Zambian top Vloggers who go by the name of Chilala Akekelwa and Saidi Lungu, a dynamic duo who have a new collection called "SOD".

Another brilliant genius stylist/host; Brtfly Jo dressed an amzing artist named Zenny Mhango in a Chrome death shirt and apocalypse pants done by Sixis Studio. The model flawlessly walked on the run way in awe and left the crowd cheerful.

The event saw many musical artists who delivered their art to an exceptional degree. It saw the likes of SPG, Young Sam, 7rooth, Anushka, Yase, Pink Huncho, 10101, Baddbando, Retro 99, Iwa doro,KMA,Don Souza and Manace etc who performed their songs respectively.

"The reactivation show was a success! I appreciate everyone who came through to support the vision and push the culture forward, love y'all," Btrfly Jo said.

One of Zambia's top creative multidisciplinary online community called"Concrete Jungle Zambia" is an online community centered around fashion, art, design & innovation in Lusaka, Zambia. It has over 400 participants with different art.

Their main aim is dedicated to empowering local creatives with a platform to showcase their various works and connect with a larger audience , connecting artists, designers, models, stylists, brands, writers and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds of Zambia to network, share ideas , work and learn from each other.

Zambia's top creative multidisciplinary online community called Concrete Jungle just dropped a phenomenon concept called "Fashionable Art" where a number of creatives got together on the 28th of February 2025 and showcased their artistic fashion.

Fashionable Art is concept that was directed by Jo and is a visual which is inspired by the influence art has on fashion. The Fashion is meant to highlight fusion, where aesthetics and stylish expression meet the cultural commentary. This took place at the Lusaka National Museum.

"Its not just about the models in the clothing or canvases, its about being in space where wearable expression becomes storyline inside an art gallery," Jo said.
Concrete Jungle Zambia is a creative online community centered around fashion, art, design & innovation in Lusaka, Zambia. It has over 300 participants with different art.

Their main aim is dedicated to empowering local creatives with a platform to showcase their various works and connect with a larger audience , connecting artists, designers, models, stylists, brands, writers and enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds of Zambia to network, share ideas , work and learn from each other.

Concrete Jungle will be hosting the Re-activation on the 20th of April 2025 which brings together creatives,musicians, writers,fashion and photographers to showcase their skills.
" At the Activation people should expect big creative energy! An amazing fashionable setup, good quality thrift, an exciting lineup of artists such as Iwa Doro, Anushka,10101, Retro99,Baddbando,7rooth and many more," Jo said.

Meet Siyame Ntazana Matamyopopularly known as , a prolific multi talented superstar whose been in the game for over 15 years with the aim of giving all he has to actualize the Zambian music industry.

Matamyo's creative aspect started in highschool at Mukushi Copper Mine where he and his peers would showcase their skills such as rapping, break dancing and singing on special occasions . He was the kind who would tell stories about life in the city to his fellow friends from kapiri Mposhi who where always excited to hear things about Lusaka.

"I will be entirely honest with you, i tried breakdancing and rapping but i was too average at this field. I stuck to what i later realized has formed the backbone to my public speaking skills: debate," one of Matamyo's friends Mainga said.

Matamyo Siyame whose inspiration comes from loving music has been recording since 2010. His had over five artists names over the years and wanted a name that would embrace all his phases through his music journey and "Meethekru " sat well with him.

"Starting off it was only Hip-Hop but i have transitioned into trap, RnB and Rage,overall i can make anything musically," Meethekru said.

One of Meethekru's favourite song his ever created is a record titled "it depends" and the inspiration behind the record is sticking to the people that stuck with him from day one.

"I've seen so much and beem through so much that one can't even imagine, regardless i feel like artists just need to hold hands more for better results for the coming generation," he said.

Meethekru whose part of a group called 10101 is sitting on "One Hundred" unreleased songs from last year only and he plans on putting everything out, more music,more videos, more vlogs etc for him to help the Zambian music industry actualize.

He also noted that he will be dropping an album titled "Nights Before Sibweni" a House 41 anticipated offering which has 10 projects, a vibrant tapestry of Hip-Hop, Trap and pluggnB.
