Her State Of Mind is a short fiction story inspired by reading/hearing of people's experiences as caregivers.
I began to ask myself candid questions about what caregiving must be like, the mental strain, the guilt of not doing much to help, or being there for a loved one suffering from dementia. And support to caregivers... who supports them through their mental, physical, and emotional duty? And what is it like to care for a loved one who is there and not really there at all? How does one cope with that harsh reality?
In this book, we go through a few hours of Suya’s experience as a caregiver for her beloved aunt, Saasa, who is like a mother to her.
