NOT EVERY SILENT PERSON IS ANGRY WITH YOU.

Stay with me on this.

As we grow older, life becomes heavier.

Responsibilities increase.

Bills arrive.

Dreams demand attention.

Some people are trying to survive emotionally while still smiling in public.

So when they become quiet...

We immediately assume they have changed.

"They don't call anymore."

"They think they are better than us."

"They've forgotten where they came from."

But what if the truth is simpler?

What if they're just tired?

What if they're carrying responsibilities they've never told anyone about?

Not every silence is pride.

Sometimes it's pressure.

Some people disappear because they are rebuilding themselves.

Not because they stopped loving the people around them.

Be honest.

How many times have you judged someone's silence without knowing what they were carrying?

Adulthood changes friendships.

Not because love disappears.

But because life demands more from everyone.

The people who truly care about each other understand this.

They don't measure love by daily conversations.

They measure it by genuine presence when it matters most.

Before assuming someone has changed...

Remember that everyone is fighting a battle you may never see.

STOP WAITING FOR PEOPLE TO BELIEVE IN YOU.

Stay with me on this.

One of the biggest mistakes many people make is waiting for encouragement before they take action.

They want their family to believe first.

Their friends to support them first.

Their partner to understand first.

But life doesn't work that way.

Most people won't believe in your dream because they can't see what you see.

They only believe after they see results.

That's the uncomfortable truth.

The business that everyone is praising today...

There was a time people laughed at it.

The career people admire today...

There was a time nobody understood it.

Success has a strange way of changing people's opinions.

The same people who questioned your decisions suddenly say they always knew you would make it.

Not because they lied.

But because results are convincing.

Be honest.

How many opportunities have you delayed because you were waiting for someone else's approval?

You don't need everyone to understand your journey.

You only need enough courage to start.

Because if your confidence depends on other people's opinions...

Your dreams will always be controlled by people who never intended to build them with you.

Sometimes the first person who must believe in your future...

is you.

THE DIGITAL GAP😰

Your competitor just accepted a mobile money payment, posted on WhatsApp Status, updated their Google listing, and closed a deal — all before you finished printing your price list.
The digital economy in Zambia is not coming. It is already here. 78% of Zambians access the internet on their phones. Mobile money transactions grew by 33% in 2024 alone. Customers are searching for businesses online, and if yours is not visible, organized, and digitally equipped, you are invisible to them.
At Kahila Resources, I help Zambian SMEs close the digital gap. I set up project management tools, create AI-powered business plans, build digital systems, and train business owners to run their operations more efficiently using technology that is already available and affordable.
You do not need a big budget to go digital. You need the right guidance.
I offer professional digital business services starting from as little as ZMW 800 — built specifically for SME budgets here in Zambia.

THE PROBLEM ISN'T THAT YOU'RE BROKE

Stay with me on this.

Being broke is not always the problem.

Sometimes the real problem is that you've become comfortable explaining why you're broke.

You know the reasons.

The economy.

Your employer.

Your family responsibilities.

The opportunities you never got.

And to be fair, some of those reasons are real.

But there comes a point where explanations stop helping and start becoming a hiding place.

Many people have spent years telling the same story about why their lives are not moving forward.

Same habits.

Same excuses.

Same conversations.

Same results.

What makes it dangerous is that the story becomes part of their identity. They no longer see themselves as someone who is temporarily struggling. They start seeing themselves as a victim of circumstances.

And once that happens, growth becomes difficult.

Because growth requires accountability.

It requires looking at yourself and asking uncomfortable questions.

What skills have I learned this year?

What habits are keeping me stuck?

What am I doing every day that moves me closer to the life I want?

The truth is that your future is not built by what happened to you.

It is built by what you repeatedly do after what happened to you.

Life can be unfair.

But if you spend all your energy proving that life is unfair, you'll have little energy left to improve it.

The hardest person to confront is often the one staring back at you in the mirror.

YOUR FAMILY CAN LOVE YOU DEEPLY AND STILL DAMAGE YOU QUIETLY.
Nobody talks about this enough.
The parent who never said well done, no matter how hard you tried.
The uncle who only noticed you when you had something to share.
The household where love was shown through provision but never through words.
And you grew up thinking that was normal.
So now you struggle to receive compliments.
You work twice as hard as everyone around you but still feel like it is never enough.
You apologise for things that are not your fault.
You shrink yourself in rooms where you deserve to take up space.
That did not come from nowhere.
Most of the emotional patterns destroying your adult life were installed before you turned fifteen.
That is the part people avoid talking about.
Because in Zambia, you are not supposed to question how you were raised.
You are supposed to be grateful.
And you can be grateful and still acknowledge that some things hurt you.
Both are true at the same time.
Healing does not mean you hate your family.
It means you finally stopped pretending that everything was fine when it was not.
Be honest with yourself.
What were you never allowed to feel as a child?
Because whatever it was, it is still running your life today.
And it will keep running it until you face it.
