We’ve been missing for a while, so this month we decided to hit the streets of Chachacha Road to get some inspiration for Independence Day.
We found a Fine arts studio, which is one of the earliest photo studios in Lusaka, Zambia - now a stationary shop.

In it was a portrait of KK soon after Independence Day in 1964, a photo taken in the same studio. The cloth across his shoulder wrapping his body is a piece we knew we had to uncover and share with you all today.
We often think of KK in his Safari suit, However this black cloth known as the black Toga has many stories to tell. we told the team to get expressive with telling this story to you & so they did.
