Yesterday, Sunday, 11th May 2025, was a momentous day as I joined hundreds of Lusaka residents from all walks of life, led by our esteemed Republican President, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema, and the First Lady, Mutinta Hichilema, in a special service at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross. We came together to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Lord God Almighty for His mercies and blessings. We thanked Him for preserving our lives and sustaining us during the severe drought that affected our nation. We also lifted our voices in praise for the rains that followed, which have resulted in a bountiful harvest. This gathering, organized by the National Day of Prayer Organising Committee, was a powerful reminder of the importance of faith and unity in our nation. I am grateful to have been a part of this momentous occasion. God bless Zambia, and God bless our Great Republic.
