WARNING TO BEMBAS BY UPND MEDIA DIRECTOR.

UPND Media Director Mark Simuuwe has called for suspected Congolese among Bemba people to be stripped of their Zambian nationality, saying it is time to “clean” the country.

He further described Bemba people as a source of confusion in Zambia and questioned their identity and loyalty to the country.

The remarks raise a disturbing question: If a person's tribe can become grounds for questioning their citizenship, where does the line between political disagreement and ethnic discrimination end?

And perhaps the bigger question is: Who gets to decide who is truly Zambian?

Nevers Mumba's Warning to Pastors and the Catholic Church

Dr. Nevers Mumba has reportedly issued a controversial warning to pastors who do not support President Hakainde Hichilema, promising to “fix” those who oppose the President.

Even more he has promised to shut down the Catholic Church in Zambia, this raises profound questions about religious freedom, political tolerance and the relationship between the Church and the state.

The bigger question is not simply who supports HH. It is whether Zambia can remain a democracy where pastors, priests and ordinary citizens are free to disagree with those in power without fear of punishment.

If political loyalty becomes a test for religious freedom, what happens to democracy itself?

UPND adopted Mazabuka Central Parliamentary candidate Michelo Chizombe says he is saddened by people who leave provinces they come from to apply for adoption in Southern Province. Chizombe says these chancers know that no one in Southern Province can vote against HH as a result, these people are coming from other regions to have an easy victory in his region. Chizombe who is also aspiring as an MP says the party must reject certain names. He says it is big confusion to migrate from Luapula or Northern Province and stand in Southern. He has told the secretariate to reject people from these provinces who want to chance an adoption in Southern.

"Many people from Luapula or Northern are coming to Southern Province because they know here there will be 100% votes for HH. Why are they running away from their areas? We are tired of these foreigners. They must stick to their area not here to cause havoc." He says

This Chizombe is the one who was used to stop Edgar Lungu from legally standing as President. His days are numbered.

TONGAS AND LOZIS MUST PROTECT HH. BEMBAS AND EASTERNERS MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO RULE AGAIN - Sipalo

Thomas Sipalo has been heard saying he has joined UPND because there is need to protect dictator Hakainde Hichilema at all cost. Sipalo is calling upon all Tonga and Lozi speaking people to rise up and defend "their own". He has lambasted the opposition branding them tribalists who only criticize HH because of where he comes from. The Munali aspiring MP says no Lozi and Tonga should waste their votes on Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu because Zambia hasto break away from the tribal hegemony of only Bembas and Easterners ruling this country. Sipalo further says he will not plead for votes from Easterners and Bembas in Munali.
