STEPS TO FOLLOW IN TOMATO 🍅FARMING 🍅
Lesson:1

(1) Seed selection.
make sure you've selected a good seed for a good yield, hybrid varieties that are resistant to diseases and pests. for example F1 varieties.

(2) Making nursery bed
clear the land, remove weeds,debris and obstacles, till the soil to fine particles and Sow your seeds.cover your nursery bed with grasses,This helps the soil to keep adequate moisture level for easy seed emergence.

(3) Transplanting
Transplant your seedlings when ready, has reached the height of 15cm or at 30-35 days after planting. use the spacing of 40 cm apart for easy air circulation.

(4)Watering
make sure you're providing your tomato with adequate water,atleast 2-3 times a week when using Cans,and once a week when using water pumps.This may depend on moisture content of the soil.
you can use furrow or drip irrigation in tomato farming.

(5) Fertilizer application.
provide your tomato with required nutrients to enhance the growth.
Apply NPK or decompound a week (7 days) after Transplanting and continue to apply every 2- 3 weeks after previous application.
Apply CAN when your tomatoes are about to produce flowers,CAN helps in flower and fruit formation.

(6)Pest and disease management
To control diseases and pests ,make sure you've followed a good pest and diseases management program.
Use Pesticides to control pest or insects that attack your tomatoes, like red spiders,grasshoppers,tuta absoluta etc.
examples of Pesticides are Snowcrone,Belt,snow super,cypermenthline,delta-methlin etc... names may differ depending on the country or region of a distributor.

Use Fungicides to control diseases that can affect your tomatoes field and reduce your yield like early bright and late bright,fruit rot,etc..
examples of Fungicides are:Manlax,Copper,success,etc..

(7)Weeding
make sure you've removed all unwanted plants in your tomato field to reduce nutrients competition between weeds and your tomatoes.
