For young people, entrepreneurs and leaders, this is a reminder!

Potential is not enough. Your future requires discipline, intentionality and the courage to make choices that align with your purpose.

You may not control every opportunity that comes your way, but you can control how you respond to it.

๐๐”๐’๐ˆ๐๐„๐’๐’ ๐ƒ๐ˆ๐๐๐„๐‘ โ€” ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ.๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”

Yesterday was not just another Saturday. I was privileged to sit among young leaders at a Business Dinner, centred on economic transformation, leadership and opportunity.

I left the room with more questions than answers and perhaps that is what meaningful conversations should do.

Four questions particularly provoked my thinking:

1. Do we truly hold our leaders accountable for the economic direction of our communities and country?

2. What ideas are sitting in the minds of young people today that, if supported, could become thriving businesses, create jobs and contribute meaningfully to our economy?

3. Can young people be entrusted with public resources and given the responsibility to turn them into measurable economic value?

4. How much exposure does a young person need before they can confidently identify, pursue and create opportunities?

These questions reminded me that economic transformation will not happen by waiting for opportunitiesโ€”it will happen when we begin creating them.

Young people must move beyond being spectators of the economy to becoming builders, investors, innovators, employers and solution-makers.

Leadership must also move beyond speeches. We need leaders who create systems that give ideas room to grow, businesses access to opportunity, and young people the exposure, mentorship and resources necessary to turn potential into productivity.

The future economy will belong to those who are prepared to build it.

To Airtel Zambia ,

I'm writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the recent issue I've experienced with Airtel Money service. My sim card, which holds a significant amount of money meant for urgent business transactions, has been blocked without any justification. Despite numerous attempts to contact your customer support, the issue remains unresolved for over 48 hours.

I have tried calling your customer support multiple times and have also met with the designated representative referred to me, but my concerns haven't been adequately addressed. The lack of attention to this issue has caused me significant inconvenience, financial loss, and damage to my business reputation.

The blocked sim card is crucial to my business operations, and its unavailability has led to numerous complaints from my clients. I'm extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of support from Airtel Money.

I request that you,

- Investigate the reason for the blockage and unblock my sim card immediately
- Provide compensation for the losses incurred due to the blockage
- Take necessary actions to prevent similar incidents in the future
