The Finish Line That Keeps Moving

Remember the first big thing you bought with your own money? Maybe it was a car, a phone, a suit, or even your first house. You couldn't stop looking at it. You took extra care of it. It felt like you'd finally made it. Then, a few months later, it simply became... normal. Before long, you were already thinking about the next upgrade.

That's the hedonic treadmill, where yesterday's dream becomes today's normal. It's the trap that materialism has this generation bound in...It always whispers, "Just one more."

Solomon saw this thousands of years ago, "Whoever loves money never has enough; whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income." (Ecclesiastes 5:10)

The problem isn't money or wanting better. It's expecting money and material things to satisfy what only God can.

Let Christ take center stage again.

Tuesdays Are for Africa: A Wake Up Call on Health Dependency

Foreign aid has saved millions of lives. Through PEPFAR alone, more than 25 million lives have been saved globally, many of them in Africa.
But here's the uncomfortable reality, in more than 20 African countries, donor funding accounts for over 20% of total health spending. Africa carries roughly 25% of the world's disease burden, yet produces only a fraction of the medicines it consumes and imports more than 70% of its pharmaceuticals.

The question is whether our health systems could survive without Aid and foreign dependency.
What happens if they change their priorities?

Healthcare sovereignty demands local investment, domestic manufacturing, medical research, and African led solutions.
A continent that cannot fund its own healing remains vulnerable, regardless of how rich its resources may be.
