Accepting My God-Given Talent

For a long time, I downplayed the things that came naturally to me, thinking they were “normal” or not worth much. But I’ve come to realize that our talents aren’t accidents, they’re assignments.

God places gifts in each of us, and it’s up to us to accept them, nurture them, and use them to serve others.

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.”* – Romans 12:6
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace.”* – 1 Peter 4:10
“A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before great men.”* – Proverbs 18:16

Here’s what I’m learning about accepting my gift:
Stop comparing, it’s unique for a reason
Stop hiding, fear only delays your purpose and dims your light.
Keep nurturing, discipline turns talent into impact.
Stay grateful, your gift is a blessing, not just a skill.

I’m choosing to step fully into the talent God gave me—and to use it with courage and faith.
