Makeni Constituency Member of Parliament Beene Hachoombwa in partnership with Golden Rock Buildings and Mining Limited today officially commissioned the Zone 14 Police Post in Harry Mwanga Nkumbula, Lusaka, through the Makeni Constituency Community Partnership (MCCP).

The facility is set to enhance security and bring policing services closer to the community.

MAKENI MP OPENS COMMUNITY POLICING ZONE 14 IN MUNYAULE

Makeni Member of Parliament Honourable Beene Hachoombwa has officially opened a new police post known as Community Policing Zone 14, located in Munyaule.

The police post has been established in partnership with the Makeni Constituency Community Partnership and is expected to strengthen security in Munyaule and surrounding areas.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, Zambia Police Service representative Mr G.N. Nyambe thanked the partners and Honourable Hachoombwa for supporting the establishment of the police post.

Mr Nyambe also urged parents and members of the public to help keep the facility well maintained and support the police in promoting security within the community.

Meanwhile, Honourable Hachoombwa thanked everyone who contributed to the establishment and opening of the police post.

In his speech, Hachoombwa recognised President Hakainde Hichilema's Grow Zambia vision, saying he will continue supporting initiatives that are in line with the vision and aimed at improving service delivery in Makeni Constituency.

The opening of Community Policing Zone 14 is expected to bring police services closer to residents and enhance security in the surrounding communities.
