Online spaces are real spaces, and how we behave in them matters — just as much as in person.
Here are 4 simple rules of Digital Etiquette that everyone should keep in mind:
1️⃣ Respect people’s time – Don’t expect instant replies. Not everyone is always online.
2️⃣ Ask before adding – Whether it’s a WhatsApp group or a tag in a post, always ask first.
3️⃣ Tone matters – Messages can be misunderstood. Be clear, kind, and mindful of emojis or caps.
4️⃣ Limit voice notes – Keep them short. Long ones can be hard to respond to (especially in noisy places).
Let’s make the digital space more respectful, thoughtful, and human.

🔍 Not Everything You See Online Is True
In the age of instant sharing, misinformation spreads faster than ever, especially on social media.
Here’s how to spot it before you share it:
✅ Check the Source
Is it a credible outlet or a random page? Always verify where the information is coming from.
✅ Watch Out for Emotional Triggers
If a post makes you angry or shocked instantly, pause. Misinformation often plays on strong emotions.
✅ Cross-check the Facts
A quick search can reveal if others (especially reliable platforms) are reporting the same thing.
✅ Look at the Date
Old news sometimes gets recycled to stir up new reactions. Always check the timeline.
📱 Think before you share, because your digital footprint includes what you post and pass along.
💬 Have you ever caught fake news online? What gave it away?

Ever received an email or text that felt a little off—but you still clicked?
That might’ve been a phishing attempt.
Phishing is one of the oldest cyber tricks in the book—designed to look legit, feel urgent, and make you act fast (click, enter info, send money…)
🚨 Scammers mimic real brands, banks, delivery services, and even government agencies to trick you.
🔍 Spot the signs:
– Unfamiliar email addresses or URLs
– Spelling mistakes or urgent requests
– “Your account will be suspended!” – classic fear tactic
– Requests for passwords, OTPs, or personal data
👊🏽 Let’s stop falling for it.
💡 Think before you click. Verify before you act.

Let’s Fix It: Oversharing Online
It’s easy to hit post without thinking twice, but every selfie, location tag, or life update you share builds a digital trail.
🔍 That “harmless” post might:
• Reveal your location or routine 🗺️
• Offer clues to passwords or personal info 🧩
• Be used by scammers or impersonators 🎭
Fix It:
✅ Think before you post
✅ Limit location sharing
✅ Review your privacy settings
✅ Don’t overshare personal milestones like travel plans, ID documents, or school info
👁️‍🗨️ If it’s online, it’s public, even if your profile is “private.”
Let’s stay social — but smart.

Is Your Phone Helping or Draining You?
Our smartphones are powerful tools, but they can also be silent energy drainers.
Between endless scrolling, constant pings, and digital clutter, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
✅ Try This Today
• Turn off non-essential notifications
• Set app timers for social media
• Take 10 minutes to clean up your home screen
• Use Do Not Disturb during focused work or study time
Small habits = big impact on your digital wellbeing.
Balance is the new power.
Your phone should work for you, not the other way around.

Unlock Extra Security🔐: What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) ❔
A password alone is not enough; hackers have gotten smarter. That’s where Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) comes in, an extra layer of protection for your accounts.
Instead of just entering your password, 2FA requires a second step, usually a code sent to your phone or an authentication app; to verify it’s really you.
Think of it like a double lock on your door. Even if someone guesses your password, they still need the second key.
How to enable 2FA?
1️⃣Check your account’s security settings (email, social media, banking apps).
2️⃣Look for “Two-Factor Authentication” or “Login Verification.”
3️⃣Follow the prompts to set it up (via SMS, authenticator app, or hardware key).
Take a minute today to add an extra layer of security

🔁 Still hitting "Update Later"?
It might feel like a small thing, but delaying software updates puts your device at risk.
🔐 Updates don’t just add new features, they fix errors, close security holes, and keep your system running smoothly.
🛡️ Think of it like locking your front door.
Don’t ignore that update notification, hit “Update now” and stay protected.
