Trump Says U.S. Is Ready to Save Christians Facing Persecution in Nigeria

U.S. President Donald Trump has raised alarm over what he calls an “existential threat” to Christianity in Nigeria. In a statement shared online, Trump claimed that “thousands of Christians are being killed” by radical Islamist groups and called for immediate U.S. action.

He urged Congress to classify Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern,” citing alarming figures of Christian persecution. Trump emphasized that America cannot remain silent while believers are being slaughtered for their faith.

> “When Christians, or any such group, are slaughtered like is happening in Nigeria, something must be done! The United States cannot stand by while such atrocities are happening in Nigeria, and numerous other countries,” he stated.

The president went further to declare that the U.S. is “ready, willing, and able to save our great Christian population around the world.”

His remarks have stirred global discussion, reigniting debates on religious freedom, U.S. foreign policy, and how the international community should respond to the ongoing violence against Christians in parts of Africa.

Do you think Trump’s call for action is what’s needed to protect Christians, or should the world take a different approach?

After 4 Albums, Mag44 Trades Fame for Purpose

He’s dropped hit after hit, inspired a generation with his faith-driven bars, and dominated the gospel hip-hop scene for over a decade — but now, Mag44 says it’s time to turn the page.

The award-winning rapper, producer, and creative powerhouse — real name Magnus Mando — has announced that his upcoming project will be his final full-length album.

But fans need not panic — the gospel star isn’t quitting music; he’s simply changing his rhythm.

“This isn’t the end of my music, it’s just the end of me making albums. I’ll still be dropping singles, collaborations, maybe even an EP — just no more albums,” Mag44 said.

Having released four studio albums since his 2013 debut Jijue, Mag44 says this decision comes straight from both the heart and the hustle.

“Making an album is expensive and time-consuming. It takes months of work, endless studio hours, and promotion. That’s time away from my family and other things I’m passionate about,” he explained.

Those “other things” include nurturing new talent, running Loop College — his music academy — producing for fellow artists, and expanding his podcast, Truth Tuesday.

“My biggest passion has always been producing and helping others grow. I want to focus on building people, teaching, and creating content that moves our industry forward,” he said.

Far from slowing down, Mag44 is actually gearing up to release more music than ever before.

“When something inspires me, I don’t want to wait a year for an album drop — I just want to release it now. So you might actually hear from me more often.”

Known for his purpose-driven artistry and authenticity, Mag44 says this new chapter is about finding balance — between faith, family, and creativity.

“This isn’t about quitting; it’s about growing. I’ve prayed about it, and I believe God is leading me to pour into others. That’s where my joy is now.”

From the mic to the mixing board, Mag44’s next act promises to be his most impactful yet — proving that even when the spotlight fades, purpose shines brighter than fame.

Mighty Move of God Marks Day 2 of “Move of the Spirit Conference” at World Changers Vision Ministries

By Faith News Network - FNN - Zambia

LUSAKA — Day 2 of the Move of the Spirit Conference at World Changers Vision Ministries witnessed a powerful outpouring of God’s presence, leaving attendees deeply moved and spiritually renewed.

The service, themed around divine restoration and destiny alignment, was led by Prophet Blessings as the special guest and concluded by Moses Destiny Jr., the founder and spiritual father of the ministry.

According to the ministry, the atmosphere was charged with the tangible presence of God, as “angels on assignment were at work, lives were restored, faith and hope recalibrated, families set free, and the name of Jesus glorified.”

The church described the encounter as one where “the Spirit of God was opening files, rectifying errors, and aligning destinies,” emphasizing that the day’s service stood out as a remarkable demonstration of divine power.

“What an encounter, what a service, what a move of the Spirit; we give God all the glory!” the ministry stated.

The conference continues today with a special event marking the ministry’s 9th Anniversary Celebration, which leaders describe as “a transition into another dimension of glory.”

Members and guests have been encouraged to invite friends and family for what promises to be an unforgettable celebration of faith and transformation where Gospel Singer KINGS MM MUMBI is also expected to minister today and Rev. Dr Nevers Sekwila Mumba is Special Guest at this Event.

Eugene Sumbulelo Urges Believers to Seek Spirit-Led Understanding of Scripture

By Faith News Network - FNN - Zambia

Prominent Christian leader and Eugene Sumbulelo The CEO has encouraged believers to rely on the guidance of the Holy Spirit when interpreting the Bible, emphasizing that understanding scripture requires both spiritual discernment and contextual awareness.

Speaking in his Sunday reflection, Sumbulelo noted that the Bible was written by men over a span of about 1,500 years and that the last of its writers lived more than 2,000 years ago. He explained that this long historical gap presents challenges in interpreting the exact meaning of certain passages.

“It is crucial to contextually interpret these texts, considering that there is a gap between the way we think and what was in the mind of the writer,” he said, adding that differences in language, culture, and geography can easily lead to misinterpretation if not carefully addressed.

Sumbulelo stressed that while the Bible has many writers, it ultimately has one divine author — the Holy Spirit — and that true understanding of scripture comes through dependence on Him.

“When we depend on the Holy Spirit, He will guide us through the written pages of the Bible,” he said.

He further reminded believers that the Bible “was not written to us, but for us,” highlighting the importance of understanding the cultural context and the original audience of biblical messages.

Sumbulelo concluded by urging Christians to place great value on the Word of God as a foundation for effective living and faith.

“If we want to be effective as believers in Christ, we need to value the Word of God,” he said, closing with a personal testimony: “I am Eugene Sumbulelo, the CEO, and I have seen the greatness of God in my life.”
