Have you ever wondered why christians don't like employing fellow christian or church mates?
Have you ever wondered why people don't like to work or do a job for a fellow Christian or church mate?
1. Let me start with the first one, Christians generally don't like employing a fellow Christian especially those they congregate with or attend the same church with because;
I. Church members mix work with church. A simple misunderstanding a pastor will know because both are members.
II. They take advantage of the employer and would generally do anything and test him or her to see the fruit of the spirit.
III. Members would get excuses from an employer church mate in the name of church activities like attending conferences, rehearsals etc even if it's not about church.
IV. Members tend to be lazy sometimes and not put in their very best knowing it's for a church mate.
V. Members tend to gossip about the weakness of the boss who is the church mate at church and what they would not do if the boss was an outsider.
VI. It's difficult to tell your fellow Christian if you are disappointed or dissatisfied with the service offered compared to an outsider.
VII. Christians sometimes are not honest and steal.
2. Church members don't like to work for fellow church members and christians because;
I. Fellow Christians don't pay. They expect free things, Even though it's a service they would pay for elsewhere.
II. Fellow church members complain a lot to others and fellow Christians.
III. Fellow christians mix work with church, a misunderstanding at work between employer and employee can end up in a Pastors office and Pastor starts to deal with work issues plus church issues.

Here is my advice
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." — Colossians 3:23
Whoever you are working for either in church or secular job, work as if you are doing it unto the lord giving him glory.
* Be honest
* Avoid laziness at work and complaining to others.
* Professional
* Avoid excuses
* Give the best effort
* Pay for a service to a Christian the same way you would pay somewhere else.
Otherwise christians should be employing one another and doing a service to fellow christian. We need to help one another.
