Being born straight out of Mandevu compound in the year 1990, Genius whose real names are Gift Chanda Jr started his Education in 1996 at Mutambe basic school in which after 4 years he was tranferred to st mary's school in matero,his Education background has been a journey of there and here,in 2002 he was transferred to kundamfumu basic school in Luapula province where he wrote his grade 7 exams in 2003,after obtaining a grade 7 certificate he came back to Lusaka and started at success Education Centre thats were he completed his senior level of Education in 2010.His music and public interest started when he was in grade 7 after presenting a poem in front of chief Kalasa lukangaba of luapula province,after that he started re-writing song by people like The Black muntu,J.k,Craig david and more,but in 2006 he started writing his own music.He also participated in alot of Auditions and competitions like The mind blower challenge hosted by hot fm,Teen star hosted by Muvie tv and The panganyimbo competition hosted by Zamtel.Panganyimbo competition did put him on a country wide recognition when he came out second with the song he wrote called WICHINGA LIFE YANDI done by Slap-Dee ft Alanzo,After that he droped a single called Why unizonda ft Saty-K, which did not do well and in 2013 he droped a video called Sembe nenze mulungu, which did well on t.v and recently he was nominated for the Komboni music awards on which he did not qualify for the finals.He was also a member of Rock City Entertainment before he resigned from the group.Genius has alot of hit songs like Walilowa,Responcible,Freestyle,Ninvele so che or any of his tracks at www.hulkshare.com/genius-gns https://www.reverbnation.com/geniuschanda/song/34607791-genius-ft-lc-reason-why-prod-by or contact or WhatsApp him on 0976976001 or beter yet just serch for Genius-gns on facebook.
