Rihanna missed the biggest opportunity of her career in 2016 when she contacted Sarkodie for a verse on a song that wasn't up to his standards and Sarkodie had to send her away to go and do better. 👀‼️

According to Sarkodie, Rihanna and her team contacted him to bless them with a verse in 2016. But since his standards were too high and he didn't want to settle for less, he asked Rihanna to change the beat of the song before coming back for a verse.

Rihanna went back and probably realized Sarkodie's standards were too high, and that is how missed the opportunity of being blessed with a verse from the Greatest African Rapper of All Time.

Till today, Sarkodie is still waiting for Rihanna to meet his standards and come back for a song, but it seems Rihanna will not have that opportunity again.

MAZABUKA FEMALE TRAFFIC OFFICER CLOBBERS ZAM PRESIDENT AND MAZABUKA CENTRAL UPND YOUTH CHAIRPERSON

A named Mazabuka traffic police officer is alleged to have beaten Zambia association of musician president (pic below) Massaj Musanda and Mazabuka central UPND Zambia youth chairperson Bright Hamwenda in unclear circumstances at a named pub Saturday night.

The female traffic officer is alleged to have smashed a bottle of beer on the ZAM president and later on slapped the Mazabuka central constituency chairperson and smashed his vehicle.

It is unclear what triggered the fight.

When contacted for a comment, Mazabuka police officer commanding muluwa phone went unanswered by broadcast time.

MUFULIRA STUDENT SENTENCED FOR DISTRIBUTING PØŘŇØGRÂPHIC MATERIAL

21-year-old Mercy Mwakesa a resident of Ndeke in Mufulira District on the Copperbelt Province has, appeared before Magistrate Mercy Chabu at the Mufulira Magistrate Court today, September 12, 2024.

Mwakesa faced charges of producing and distributing pørñográphic material on social media between May 1 and May 14, 2024.

During her initial court appearance on June 4, 2024, Mwakesa requested bail to continue her education.
The court granted her K10, 000 cash bail with conditions, including providing two government working sureties, not interfering with evidence, and avoiding contact with witnesses. However, she failed to meet these conditions and remained in police custody from May 22 to September 12, 2024.

Mwakesa’s second court appearance, scheduled for June 18, 2024, was postponed pending consent from the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

Mwakesa has pleaded guilty to the charges.

Considering her age, status as a Grade 11 student, and her expression of remorse, Magistrate Chabu sentenced her to six months in prison or a fine of K4, 000. Mwakesa has been given until September 13, 2024, to pay the fine.

She appealed for leniency, stating that she had learned significantly from the court proceedings and did not fully understand that her actions were illegal in Zambia.
