My Musical Roots Run Deep πΆ
It's wild to think it all started back in high school (2019!) with just my hands and a book rack, making beats with pens and palms. That simple joy ignited something in me.
Shoutout to Mr. Sambwa, my woodwork teacher, who opened a whole new world by introducing me to FL Studio on his laptop. Those weekend sessions on the corridor with the home team - Tkay, Kaylee, Melohoodies, Decaux, and others - were where the first real sparks flew.
Of course, there were hurdles! Remember the great PC malware incident at my brother's place? π But my sister Miy, my constant support, always had my back, letting me use her laptop to keep the music alive. π
Then came 2020 and COVID. Unexpectedly, it led me to Emzed Studios, my new musical home where I really got hands-on and met the realities of the studio life.
Back to school, and Dustin connected me with Ozone International, the place that helped me become the Tcore you know today. Serenje will always be my roots and my learning ground. β€οΈ
Post-Grade 12 was a whirlwind of experiences at Emzed, MG, and Mega Music, each teaching me something new. Tertiary education brought another key figure, Trigga Dopely, who I'd cook up bangers with on weekends and who introduced me to so many big names in the game. That exposure was invaluable!
Massive respect to Cassy Beats for the incredible influence on my sound, and to Kid Xoldier for pushing me to step outside my comfort zone.
This journey has been a wild ride, full of learning, growth, and incredible people. From book racks to studios, the passion burns brighter than ever! π₯
What sparked your creative journey? I'd love to hear! π
